Itching to try out writing a character? Then rev up your engines, grab your accounts, and slam your way into this meme! Here is a venue for you to try out whatever character there might be tickling your fancy, from fandom to OC, for as few as one and as many as MANY. Seriously, there's no limit.

How do you partake in this fantastic congregation of character testing? Why, by following these simple steps:

1. Comment with the journal of a character you want to test; put their name and canon in the subject line for added sparkles.
2. Tag around with everyone!
3. Profit like you live on a the back of a turtle!

But wait, there's more! For the low, low price of $9,999.99, you can even use one of our handy prompts when you tag someone. You could even pick one with a Random Number Generator to help decide which prompt to go with!

   Maybe someone else saw the exact same shiny thing you did at the exact same moment! However shall this be resolved? Remember: blood is extremely hard to scrub off of turtleshell!

   Go nuts. Suddenly your character is fighting dragons! Good God, they've found the Millennium Falcon drifting in the ocean! Do you really feel the need to polish every paving stone in the Earth Sector? Please note, Wildcard options are also what you can choose to do if you aren't yet comfortable in the Tu Shanshu setting and would prefer a more 'dear-mun' esque experience. Please specify in your post!

This marks the official start of the monthly test drive meme and, to celebrate, we're giving a new feature a shot. The first comment/thread on this test drive is going to be titled ENABLE ME and it's where you post character accounts/muselists, etc and others (members, passerbys, shoulder demons) can enable you to apply to Tu Shanshu! [ Close--close! And Gavroche has disappeared in between two impossibly narrow buildings, disappearing for a few moments before there's a plonk a few minutes after.

Gavroche, pleased and situated on an awning in the market stall near two said buildings, is throwing the other's coin at him, holding the bag aloft. ]

Gotta be more careful here!

Lesson fucking learned. [Jim mutters and sighs, looking up at the kid and discounting any chance of trying to get up there after him. No point chasing street kids, especially when they know the streets better than you.

He grins instead.]

[ He considers this. Makes a show of it, really--finger pressed to his chin, face angled upwards as if asking the heavens. ]

Alrigh', it's 'cause there's charity on th'streets if you're a greenhorn. Come here, brat. [ And he's motioning to inside one of the buildings, pocketing the money very carefully inside his jacket and climbing down to join him. ]

M'gonna show you how it's really done.

[And while Jim is wary that this could be a scam, he follows the kid without much hesitation. ]
