Itching to try out writing a character? Then rev up your engines, grab your accounts, and slam your way into this meme! Here is a venue for you to try out whatever character there might be tickling your fancy, from fandom to OC, for as few as one and as many as MANY. Seriously, there's no limit.

How do you partake in this fantastic congregation of character testing? Why, by following these simple steps:

1. Comment with the journal of a character you want to test; put their name and canon in the subject line for added sparkles.
2. Tag around with everyone!
3. Profit like you live on a the back of a turtle!

   Maybe someone else saw the exact same shiny thing you did at the exact same moment! However shall this be resolved? Remember: blood is extremely hard to scrub off of turtleshell!

   Go nuts. Suddenly your character is fighting dragons! Good God, they've found the Millennium Falcon drifting in the ocean! Do you really feel the need to polish every paving stone in the Earth Sector? Please note, Wildcard options are also what you can choose to do if you aren't yet comfortable in the Tu Shanshu setting and would prefer a more 'dear-mun' esque experience. Please specify in your post!

This marks the official start of the monthly test drive meme and, to celebrate, we're giving a new feature a shot. The first comment/thread on this test drive is going to be titled ENABLE ME and it's where you post character accounts/muselists, etc and others (members, passerbys, shoulder demons) can enable you to apply to Tu Shanshu! [Tybalt has been getting his bearings as a cat, after the kedan dropped him off. He didn't intend to be seen, slinking around corners and under stalls in the market place, but it seems some people have sharp eyes. He freezes and then cautiously approaches, the very picture of a cat faced with an unfamiliar human. There's a very odd scent around the girl that he wants to investigate.]

[She squints a little at the cat, finally ending up with something approaching a smirk on her face. That power is easy enough to feel, even if it's a bit different from what she's used to.]

Haven't seen a lot of your folk around here. [Don't mind the crazy girl talking to the cat, move along, these are not the droids you're looking for.]

[Tybalt sits down and starts washing a paw nonchalantly. He can tell the girl isn't a fairy, not even a merlin. How was she able to tell? Tybalt knows there's nothing to identify him to a human as anything other than a normal cat, unless he behaves strangely.

It's a choice between getting answers and plausible deniability. He can find out what she knows and how she knows it, or he can pretend he has no idea what she's talking about. He suddenly turns and vanishes under the nearby stall, heading for an alley. If she can keep up with him, he might consider talking to her.]

[And she does, because if there's one of the fae in Keeliai, she figures it should be her job to know who it is and what they're capable of. ...Alright, so she can't move quite as quick as a cat, but she arrives in that alley soon enough.]

[She won't find a cat when she gets there. Instead, there's Tybalt and his six-odd feet of gorgeousness. You're welcome, Molly. He's wearing his human illusions, of course, and leaning against one of the walls and eyeing her with veiled interest.]

[She just lifts an eyebrow at him, crossing her arms in front of her chest.]

Looking for you, but you're not Cat Sith, are you.

[He mimics her posture, crossing his arms and mockingly lifting an eyebrow.]

And what would Cat Sith be?

[No, he isn't going to admit to anything.]

The king of the malks. He's kinda big, doesn't take well to catnip jokes.

I certainly haven't seen anyone like that around here.

[Tybalt is a combination of amused and intrigued- Cat Sith as a 'who', not a 'what'. That's very strange.]

Little girls probably shouldn't go peering into dark alleys, though. You never know what you're going to turn up.

Of course you haven't.

[And she sounds entirely cheerful and pleasant, leaning back against the opposite wall just in case she might need something at her back.]

Maybe you should try telling that to someone who'd actually be scared of dark alleys. I find them pretty handy, myself.

I'm sure I would have noticed. Maybe he went into the next dark alley down the way.

[He examines his nails, his tone fairly bored.]
