How to play? Reply to this post with the characters you play, people will then reply to you asking 'What does X think of my character Y?' then zoom around and ping other people in the same manner to generate some CR chatter! Cobb actually got his attention just by the way he reacted to the FBI announcement. It was pretty subtle but Reid thinks there might be something there - either a past history in law enforcement or some sort of bad run-in with them. Of course he has no idea what the truth actually and as I mentioned to Froda, if/when Reid finds out about the dream-sharing he is going to be so completely angry beyond-- well I'd say beyond reason, but Reid never actually gets angry beyond reason oops. BUT HE'LL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED IN ALL OF YOU.

Cobb is the alpha male archetype that Reid... basically looks for in a lot of the male figures in his life. (Can you imagine Cobb and Hotch in a room. No. Seriously. Think about it a second) and although he's old enough that he doesn't feel he needs that authority-ish-figure he still subconsciously gravitates towards them. I think Cobb definitely has the potential to kind of fill that role in a surrogate fashion for him as long as their CR doesn't misstep off the beaten path along the way.
