CR TEAL DEER MEME

How to play? Reply to this post with the characters you play, people will then reply to you asking 'What does X think of my character Y?' then zoom around and ping other people in the same manner to generate some CR chatter! This is a good way to see where your current CR stands and what your characters secretly think of each other.

KYLE

Bruce:

Bruce is giving Kyle a hard time right now because of Innate Lantern Problems that he has, but really he's just being a dick for the sake of dickery. When he's not busy being a douchebag he actually likes Kyle (more than most other lanterns GUY.) and although he might not go out of his way to respect him as a superhero (number of people he actually does: three) he does respect his heart and that almost means more, in a way.

Still, if Kyle keeps sticking his nose into Bruce's family business by god he's going to cut it off and feed it to him. NO METAS IN PSEUDO-GOTHAM FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU--

He's also irritated by the patented Green Lantern arrogance of 'my ring can solve anything' and whenever Kyle's ring runs out he's going to be completely without sympathy. Flying around giving people lantern constructs, Kyle, really that is not a good use of your abilities when you could just give them matches.

/batrant

CONTRARY TO ALL THE BITCHING THO he really does like Kyle. He respects John and sometimes want to shove Hal off a cliff (even if Hal was one of the pallbearers at his funeral) and one day he's going to trick Guy into punching his own lights out or something when no one's around to see it happen but he can record it for posterity's sake but he thinks that Kyle is a good choice to be a Lantern. But he would never tell him that.

Also: Kyle is at an age that Bruce hates. It's too old for hero-worship of the Batman (and thus blind order following) and too young to have the wherewithal and intelligence to just damn well follow his orders when he gives them. He's also very close in age to Dick and let's face it, Bruce and Dick's issues at their respective ages are pretty impressive. But it's a 'rebellious' age and Bruce very much hates not being in total control of someone with a power ring. So that's a factor too. #controlfreak.

Reid:

REID HAS NO IDEA WHAT TO THINK THIS PERSON IS CLAIMING TO BE A SUPERHERO HOW DOES LIFE THE UNIVERSE AND EVERYTHING

Right now he's torn between 'he's crazy' and 'I'm crazy'. He's not entirely certain one way or another yet but it's definitely a thought he's having. But, um, if he can work past that speed bump he'll want to learn more about Kyle (... and could probably figure out his identity pretty easily if we go that route because Kyle you are not sneaky you poor dear) and the ring and its properties and stuff because science. Though he'd also accept Kyle telling him to back off because Reid isn't really the sort of guy that pushes other people's boundaries.

He definitely thinks (and appreciates that?) he's helpful, though, and even if there's no craziness involved anywhere he recognizes the fact that Kyle is inherently a good person.
