Kyle is the weirdest GL Dick has ever met. Maybe one of the weirdest people he's ever met, which is saying a lot. But he's weird in the good goofy older brother way. And there's something about him that radiates genuine kindness that's so rare. I think that reminds him a little of his family. If he actually sat down and thought about it (which he doesn't), he'd realize Kyle reminds him of his cousin John with all of the hair-ruffling and seeking him out when he's sulking and (trying) to cheer him up. John was better at it but he had a long time to get good at it.
