Oh, Dorian. Favrielle adores him to pieces which is surprising because canonly she's really quite :T!! at another character who kinda reminds me of him in personality. But he got lucky because he got this version of Favrielle who's grown a lot since her arrival and is not QUITE so judgmental of people with jovial personalities because she can really enjoy herself more around them once more. She's closer to what I envision she would have been like as a Servant of Naamah...but yes I digress.

The point is, he has a lightness to his personality that is not frivolous or does not make him seem as if he's wasting time trying to be witty or funny. He has passions and interests and appreciation of many of the finer details to her work or art in general that gives them a great deal to enjoy together. That he seems to fall right in line with how D'Angelines handle matters of love and sex is an added bonus because he doesn't resent how much time she puts into her work or seem to mind that she may flirt or take other lovers as well. There's an easiness and lack of pressure with him that she enjoys a great deal.

She cares a great deal for him, but I think she's also quite content to enjoy their relationship as it is with pressure to make it more or better or something else. I think the best way to describe it in short is that she cares for him and he rather delights her on a regular basis and things are just easy so she is content as they are and trusts him to appreciate her for who she is and what she does. And just...yes.

He is so happy he got lucky with Favrielle mellowing a bit because it is great. But yes. A LOT OF YES. I think his respect for her work (Dorian and ~*~artists~*~) is a big thing in their relationship which I love and which is also probably one of the reasons the relationship is as successful as it is. They are just really good with their fabulous open relationship friendship thing and yes. Very good. Intelligent response from me!
