BRUCE:

Bruce is just like 'holy fuck this kid is screwed up'. AND HE DEALS WITH A LOT OF SCREWED UP KIDS I don't think he actually has any idea what to do with Peeta that isn't 'someone get this kid some therapy and a stiff drink'.

He definitely wants to help him? But he acknowledges that he is so not the person for the job. He might try to get through to him as Craig because Craig is an inherently 'nurturing' personality and Bruce... is better at acting because it lets him do/say things he wouldn't have any idea how to handled as himself. ... does that make sense?

So basically he's going to try and help and look out for him and will generally be a bro except for the fact that he has no real idea how because Peeta's issues are actually outside the range of his expertise. Not that he likes admitting that. But it's true.

BRANDON:

Brandon is a mess of not sure how feel about all the HG kids actually. He's weirdly combative towards yet protective of Katniss and Peeta just sets his teeth on edge. The fact that Peeta can talk so casually about needing someone to kill him just. Freaks him out. Because no one should ever be like that. Ever.

Brandon really wants Peeta to talk to Terry about therapy. And he will drag him there to make it happen. Because I said so.

BANE

I tried to write that as 'bare' just so you know.

Bane is the only rogue Bruce has ever been afraid of. He's had moments of fear for other people with the others - Joker, Ivy, Two-Face, etc, but he's never, ever been afraid the way he was of Bane. He knows damn well that Bane could have killed him and instead chose to defeat him, which he kind of sees as worse. IF HE'D DIED HE WOULD HAVE JUST COME BACK A FEW WEEKS LATER PERFECTLY HEALED IN A DEUS EX MACHINA COUP but noooo he was out of action for MUMBLE COMICS TIMELINES (supposed to be a year but probably only a few months because FUCKING COMICS) and more than that

Bane took away Batman. Which Bruce sees as being the only worthwhile part of his identity.

So basically: fuck you.

This isn't that Bane, of course, but Bruce would be stupid to deny that the potential isn't there for the same downward spiral. Right now he's on edge. Even though he knows he can beat Bane (since he's kicked his ass like ten times since the good old days) he's still an adrenaline-wired hypervigilant PTSD-case around him and he knows that makes him weaker and a target. WHICH HE IS OKAY WITH. AND EVEN PREFERS. Because if he's the target that means no one else is and in the Bruce Wayne School of Martyrdom and Idiocy that's pretty much the best he can ever hope for with his rogue gallery.

He dislikes that he doesn't really know what Bane is planning word for word - he can guess, of course, but he doesn't know and Bane is one of the only people who's ever been able to outsmart him and he just HATES THAT but he also thrives under challenge so??? help??


I THINK THIS THREAD WE'RE DOING ATM WILL DETERMINE A LOT ABOUT HOW THEIR FUTURE INTERACTIONS GO so yes I'm freakin' excited you play an amazing Bane /chinhands
