Zatanna ➔ "Dick"

He actually didn't immediately captivate her during their first meeting, possibly because he was trying to be subtle an nonchalant and less noticeable. Unfortunately for him, the longer they talked, the more she started to like him, until he walked away from that conversation with her interest and desire to learn more. Being a civilian was a bit of a twist for her, since she'd been mostly associating with vigilantes of all ages until then, and she was surprised to find that they still clicked despite the initial beleif that they would lack anything in common. Then, they turned out to have quite a bit after all. Finding out about his circus life helped. Because magic show life. THEN he asked her to the Masquerade and she actually didn't mind going with him and they had fun and he started to remind her a little more and more of a certain someone, and...yeah...

So now they're on good terms, except for the part where she's getting suspicious. No proof yet, but give it time.


Zatanna ➔ "Robin"

Absolutely her best friend and sort of-boyfriend on the Turtle, and the person she trusts most. Even though she hasn't told him everything about the Eva situation, she probably will soon because Annabeth told Percy and now she's just feeling guilty. She cares a lot about him, and it meant more than he knows that he was willing to promise to try talking to her Father on her behalf. He gets her, they practically speak the same language at times, and being around him is both fun and a comfort.

Unfortunately, right now, she's understandably worried that he's gone poof for so long. Even though the little Robin told her he was okay and just recovering, and she gets that he would probably be with the Batfamily in a time like this, she really does wish he would at least send her a message or SOMETHING. But, alas, that's the life of sort of-dating a Robin, and even though she doesn't like it, she knew what she was getting into.

He's still going to get an earful when she finally sees him again, though.

THE PERILS OF SECRET IDENTITIES. He had to look after her somehow so he used both of his identities okay. And he's secretly wanted to hang with the Team as Dick.
