CR TEAL DEER MEME

How to play? omigosh where even to start. beware lack of coherence.

Zatanna is the first person on the turtle Jack really connected with. He likes her attitude and that she could do magic and she liked fun. She is definitely the person he has the most trust in right now, because he sees that she does the same thing that he does -- pushes her real feelings down under smiles and jokes sometimes. He feels so guilty that she almost drowned like he should have done something more even though he was nowhere near where she was so he couldn't have really helped. He doesn't see her as younger than himself -- if anything, he sees her as older. Jack's really grateful that she's his friend and it didn't even register that she had to specify "one of" her best friends, he doesn't even care about something like that. In the same vein, he doesn't really understand why or even that she IS drawing those little lines to keep things on a friendship level as opposed to something else, because he hasn't realized there's an alternative (yet).

Okay that was really convoluted sorry. :X

Jack on Percy and Katniss!

Percy is another Cool Guy and the fact that they're able to bicker and push a little bit on their respective elements is something Jack finds fun. It's a kind of playful connection that he didn't really get from the other elemental spirits in his world. He's looking forward to a few playful pranks, even if he's a little @_@ about the whole son of a god thing.

Ahaha omg Katniss. Honestly at this point, Jack considers her a personal challenge. He wants to break through that shell and get her to smile or accept kindness or something. He doesn't even care if she ends up totally pissed at him for it, because he thinks a moment of her not being so grim will be worth it.

Jack on Ororo and Tony?

Ororo is kind of like a lot of nature spirits wrapped up in one, and Jack really doesn't see what she does as anything different than magic. Especially given that others have told him that she'd been called a goddess before. At some point he wants to talk to her about the responsibility of having control of weathery things... I think a part of him wants to make sure he's doing it right. insecure snow baby is insecure.

Jack thinks Tony is like those amazingly cool kids that never seem to grow up... which really isn't that far from the truth. Partly from Pepper's warning and partly from knowing how people can be, Jack tried not to let Tony's attitude get to him and little frosty explosion aside, he doesn't view him badly. Tony's also getting a lot of cushioning from Pepper's ongoing litany that he's a good guy :P

Jack on Santo?

Jack thinks Santo is a great guy who probably has to put up with more hassle in his life than he should need to. But Jack is also thankfully NOT one to be even remotely swayed by what people look like on the outside because ~~LOL BUNNY~~ he knows that, as cheesy as it is, it's what's on the inside that matters.

He also really likes Santo's sense of humour and is looking forward to some pranktiems.

Jack on Finnick and Vanessa!

Finnick is totally his new bro, no lie. Fighting the zombies and Jack really appreciated how big of a leap that Fin took in trusting him and he wants to repay him for that somehow. He's starting to get a picture from the various Panem kids about why they are the way they are, so even though he doesn't know Finnick's story specifically, he doesn't begrudge that he can't see Jack. He'll be patient and ~~go fishing~~ wait until things happen in their own time.

~~my ridiculous typo got~~ Jack so flustered with Vanessa, lol. But he appreciates that she gave him a second chance and hopefully doesn't think he's too much of a derp!

Jack about Kyle!

Kyle is rockin' awesome in Jack's book! He's got that gregariousness and upbeat attitude that Jack wishes he had (or at least could maintain all the time) and now learning he's a superhero on top of it's just icing on the cake. He really really appreciated Kyle taking the time to help him figure out the seeing/not seeing thing and was a little surprised, but he wants to do something nice for Kyle in return.

Evil villain story swapping must still happen. :D

Jack & Dick

Jack thinks Dick is a good guy and he wishes he could get to know him better. I know there's a certain amount of minor interactions being handwaved that would come from them living in the same building but Jack doesn't know much about him (and that's not even counting the secret identity thing).

So basically COME BE NEIGHBOURLY BRO.
