Alcuin's thoughts on Favrielle?

She has been nothing but kind and it's made his transition so much easier- especially because friends of hers have also been kind to him because of their association. That makes him think very well of her, if so many people like her. He is sure Tu Vishan would seem much lonelier without another d'Angeline around, even if they've never met before there's an instant kinship there.

He's really curious about how she got her scar, but he can guess that a scar like that on a Night Court-fostered woman is going to have very painful associations (he knows how they treated Phedre, after all) so he isn't going to mention it or ask until they know each other much better.

So, he's very grateful to her but he also likes her on her own merits for her friendliness and talent. He wants to be friends and he will happily work for her just for the pleasure of her company.

Someday in the future Favrielle will tell him how she got her scar. Will tell him how she came to be a clothier instead of a Servant of Naamah :C

And yes I am glad they are hitting it off so far she just wants to roll him up and wrap him in cuddles okay.

He thinks she's a very intelligent young woman- more intelligent than the vast majority he's met back in London, or at least not in the habit of hiding it. He likes that a lot, and would be happy to get to know her more. Perhaps there could be chatting about architecture, though most of his knowledge is from the 16th century. He thinks she seems very sure of her opinions for one so young, but he would hardly say it's a flaw, especially when talking about things like immortality. Having a firm stance on such matters can be helpful!

He likes him! He's thoughtful and seems pleasant to be with, and he's obviously quick to make up for mistakes or feel guilty about them, so Alcuin can't hold a grudge for Jack upsetting him that time. Alcuin is really bad about holding grudges against anyone, actually. He's fascinated by the spirit thing and definitely wants to know more- while Terre d'Ange wasn't lacking in supernatural myths and legends, they don't usually wind up on your doorstep bringing the snow in.

Lyall thinks she's very elegant and pleasant to talk to. Excellent company and quite charming! Not to mention pretty. It's always good to have someone you can be amusing with, he did enjoy bantering with her and he can't deny it. He looks forward to continuing their acquaintance!

Alcuin is pleased to find there are people who feel roughly similar about prostitution to the d'Angelines. He was a bit worried that almost no one would- not that he's ashamed of it, but it's nice to be met with understanding and not immediate skepticism. And she knows Favrielle so he is sure she will prove to be perfectly wonderful, because he has touching faith in Fav's friends.

He's very interesting! He seems ignorant about some things that Alcuin takes for granted like souls and then there was that comment about seeing things that aren't really there or something. It's obvious that there's something more there and Alcuin wants to know what it is.

Additionally he's really nice and he is a pretty good baker, which Alcuin heartily approves of. He hopes that they can be friends, and not just for baked goods and mystery purposes! He really does like him.

HMMM well. He likes him and he finds his condition fascinating. He would like to know more and it kind of frustrates him that he can't properly scientifically experiment on a real person without violating ethical standards?

He likes that he's so eager to help. He isn't sure what to make of Dorian showing up and asking for sex the way he did, though he was perfectly happy to oblige him. It implies some kind of underlying issue that may cause future problems so he's going to find out what it is... or just arrange things so that the future problems won't be so bad. He wants Dorian's life to be easy so that Dorian can continue holding his hand!

He doesn't want to get too attached himself. Dorian isn't Pack and can't make up for their loss and he's aware that he might be floundering and reaching for any rope he can grab to make up for not being with his packbros anymore. But he does like Dorian on a personal and physical level (he is very pretty).

They haven't spoken much, but Alcuin stands firmly by the fact that any friend of Favrielle's is a friend of his. He did take his offer of help seriously and if he needed anything he would ask- Bruce gave him the impression that he could trust him on that. He looks forward to getting to know him better, like he does for all of... well, practically the entire populace of Keeliai.

Reid

Alcuin has not met very many people who are as intelligent as he is. Reid may very well be more intelligent than he is and he hasn't decided how he feels about that yet. Of course, Alcuin isn't given to negative emotions like envy, so he's not likely to rival him at all- it's kind of an odd disconcertedness, he really has no idea what to do with the feeling.

He wants to see if he can learn Reid's trick for languages, since that would be really useful, and he definitely looks forward to talking to him. I can see him getting a bit of a crush on Reid's brains and totally unself-aware adorableness after a while... and I'm definitely down for ugly scarves and terrible glasses. Alcuin can look good in anything!

Well, he seems to be more than he lets on, if that makes any sense. Lyall certainly approves of that! He said some interesting things about the future development of technology, which Lyall would like to hear more about that. He also didn't make any sheep husbandry jokes or comments, which he definitely appreciates. XD So, all in all, a favourable impression!
