Okay but no.

So basically Finnick loves Johanna, okay? She's his best friend, and he listens to her and believes in her opinions. More than anything, he wants their relationship to be okay again, even if she thinks he's an undead mutt. Also he's doing his very best to LMAO not bug her about details about Annie. :| Like what does she eat in the mornings and does she cry sometimes and does she ask for him? Does she forget that he's dead?

But he knows Johanna isn't exactly Annie's biggest fan, so he's going to respect that about her.

He would die for her, if he had to. And he'd definitely kill for her, lmfao.

Frandship is important, man.

Finnick on Katniss:

He loves her. She's one of his closest friends, which is saying something, because you know. Victors and friendships. But he admires Katniss for her strength and everything she's been through and for not giving up until the very end, at least. He also wants her to know that he doesn't blame her at all for his death? He got into the rebellion long before she came into the picture, and he knew there was always that small possibility that he'd die. But, you know. Had to protect Annie and all that. He was proud to have followed Katniss when she took command. He wishes he could have gone on to stand with her later on, but it just wasn't supposed to happen.

Also he's not sorry for promising to kill Peeta. And he never will be. Oops.

Also her bed is nice and warm.


Vanessa on Percy:

Part of her thinks that him and his friends might be a sign from Catty, but that's stupid as hell and she hates herself for thinking that. But it's nice to think that there are other kids of gods around here. Even if she's not technically the kid of a god. She also thinks that Percy is incredibly ridiculous and kind of immature.

Finnick thinks Santo is a bro, seriously. He doesn't actually have a lot of friends back home, and most of them are girls anyway. He barely even cares about his appearance anymore, either (excuse him if sometimes he stares too long, he's a little mentally unstable). In the Capitol, Finnick saw a lot of weird looking people, so it's easy for him to think of people as altered than as mutts.

He really enjoys talking to Santo, though, and having stupid banter with him. And it's strangely nice to be able to talk to someone and know that they don't want something from him. Like getting into his pants or something.

So they haven't interacted a whole bunch, but Finnick really likes Cass. She's like some weird mash up, in his mind, of Annie and Katniss. And those are two people that he wants to protect the most, which makes him sort of want to protect her as well. He knows that she's obviously capable and wouldn't underestimate that, but there are other ways of keeping people safe. He'd like to get to know her more.

Finnick thinks Jack is cool, even if he still can't see him. I think that'll be changing soon, because either Finnick's had a serious break in reality or this is an actual person he's talking to. I think he'll be seriously surprised when he sees how young Jack looks and find it a little hilarious. It'd probably make him feel a little more protective as well, because he has a soft spot for kids. He really enjoys that they get along because, as with most people, those who usually liked Finnick wanted something from him. This is a new experience for him.


Vanessa likes Jack, too! (Big surprise.) He's funny and awkward, something she can relate to. Once she finds out about him being a Guardian and what not, it's going to freak her out a little bit but she'll get over it pretty quickly. That'd explain why he's so pretty at least...

Jack will really be happy when Finnick starts to see him, because he thinks Fin is a Pretty Cool Guy and he's looking forward to maybe helping put a little bit of childhood magic back into his life.

Finnick thinks Inara is seriously attractive. And smart. Also he likes that she's not batting a lash at the people calling her a whore and for standing by her beliefs. He'd like to get to know her a little better, in a friendly sort of way. ... Maybe a sexy sort of way, too, but mostly as a friend.

Finnick on Peeta and Bane!

Finnick cares a lot about Peeta, but not in the same way as he cares about Katniss. A lot of it is because he cares about Peeta because of Katniss, seeing as how he hasn't spent as much time with him as he did with her. Still, he likes the way Peeta handles himself and admires the way he can play a crowd. He wishes that Peeta hadn't had to endure the torture and become hijacked, but that's just the way war goes sometimes. He'd like to get to know him more now though and try to help him out, for Katniss's sake.

Bane speaks to him in a way no man has ever spoken to him before..... uguu.

But no, Finnick really understands where Bane is coming from and doesn't exactly disagree with him. Finnick isn't looking to start another rebellion yet, either, so I doubt he'd just join Bane in some revolution, but he likes the cut of his jib.

:| Brandon, you're too much of a flirt. Vanessa thinks he's pretty okay though. She's not really sure of what to think about this superhero business, mostly because she... Is coming from a time where she was expecting to lose her powers and forget everything about her not-normal life and where she's kept everything a secret, so seeing someone so openly talking about themselves in mindblowing.

From the little bit of conversation they've had, Finnick thinks Reid is really informative? He didn't know about that barrier bit, and he's glad he does now, for a lot of reasons. He thinks Reid is someone who'd be a good ally to have in this place.

Leo reminds Vanessa of her best friend. If her best friend had been a boy and hitting on her. She does think he's cute though, and funny. And ridiculous. And immature. She likes that he didn't think she was crazy when she said she'd been in another universe before, because it's really important to not be thought of as crazy.

Finnick thinks Leo would be eaten alive by Katniss. Chewed up and spit out. He'll try to keep Leo from that fate, because Peeta sure won't. LMAO he thinks that Leo is pretty hilarious and is enjoying the puns (as am I, aw yeah).
