Hellooooooooo! I am Tomato, and I will be playing this here Annabeth Chase, from the Percy Jackson conglomerate series. If you are not familiar, she's a sixteen year old demigod and daughter of the goddess Athena! Which means she's probably smarter than you (she's probably smarter than me) and handy with a knife among various other weaponry.

I'm taking her from the end of Son of Neptune which is the latest book in the Heroes of Olympus series (and latest book in general but w/e w/e).

There's only two out for the Heroes of Olympus series rn!! The Lost Hero and Son of Neptune. Annabeth doesn't feature predominantly in either though (SADLY), so I should be able to avoid the big spoilers! c:

She's actually pretty good! She was trained by a couple of soldiers for several months and she's got the added bonus of having magic ability that lets her anticipate moves before they're made so she can definitely hold her own if she gets into the meditative sort of zone?

Are the books worth checking out? :|a Or are they kinda just okay?

Oho nice! I think Annabeth will appreciate someone who also has a penchant for knives, since it's not the most common back home \o/

I enjoyed them quite a bit! It shifts from first person pov to third person, and introduces Roman elements which I flipped out for. I'm super excited for the third one, due out in October. (Called The Mark of Athena and it seems pretty likely that Annabeth reenters as a major figure again)

It's a switchblade she keeps hidden under her pants generally speaking, and she can also handle hand to hand as well as the equivalent of a quarterstaff. No other bladed weapons training or projectiles but yes :D

And ooooooh I just might have to check those out at some point. I definitely should reread the first five eventually so I can reacquaint myself with Annabeth...

Oooh, okay. Even so, spar buddies is full of yes. Though Annabeth might be hesitant at first because Yelena's not a demigod 8|a

That's fine, it will probably take a little time for Yelena to get to a point that she trusts someone to spar with them...

Yelena's not as wary as say...Katniss? But yeah she'll be cautious at least.

Ahaha yeah I have the same problem u_u I need to organize my books and make my stack of unread things because they are EVERYWHERE.

I'm not sure anyone is as wary as Katniss sadklh. But this will happen they will both get to a decent level of trust (yea)

Mine are so disorganized I kind of ran out of room on my shelves so there are books all over my room

Yaaaaaaaaay I am looking forward to this.

Most of my books are still in boxes :< There's just no room to unpack everything I need to really just......clean things out like crazy. Donate ALL THE BOOKS pretty much.

HEEE. It's not like it's that difficult to make the leap from superhuman to demigod. And he's slightly less doggedly Christian than Steve.
