Here's what we've got lined up for November 2017:
Weather
As the month progresses, the unearthly chill lingers, and the fog thickens, making Keeliai seem unfamiliar and alien. This effect is exacerbated when the fog doesn't strictly act like one would expect, especially at dusk and in darkened alleyways. The mist curls as though around a person or a creature, and sometimes it's tinted black or brown (and on a few occasions, orange). At least the rain seems to have abated for now.
Sometimes, things look different not just for the thick softening of the fog, but as though something older lies beneath them. Something older, and less worn but perhaps less friendly, too.

Kedan/Foreigner Relations
Relations between Kedan and Foreigners have gotten better - there is a general sense of “we’re all in the same boat” with regards to the hauntings. Few people in the city are in a cheery mood, so short tempers occasionally flare up. The accusations of cultist activity by the ghosts also has some people on edge - and others disappearing, presumably to evade capture - and though that tension doesn't help, it also brings with it another sort of solidarity.
The increasing concerns about the state of the planes adds another layer of push and pull. Efforts across the city bring people together, sometimes in fear and sometimes in determination.

LET'S DO THE TIMEWARP AGAIN
Researchers at the College studying the planes thought, at first, that their readings must surely be wrong. Unfortunately, longer observation and instrument recalibration shows that the readings are correct, and the planes are Doing Things.
Specifically, they're moving closer together in undesirable ways, and it's speeding up at an exponential rate. Ghosts continue to haunt the streets of Keeliai, and unlike last month, they're not limited to verbal interaction. Sporadically, the spectres gain a more tangible presence and are capable of touching and moving things in the physical realm. If a living individual were to pass through a ghost this month - which will feel like being dunked in ice water - they'll be left with a sense of lingering dread more often than not.
Even glimpses of late emperors Eshai and Evandau, and the magician Eva, have been reported but no one seems to be able to get close to their spectres in order to speak with them.

The child that appeared after Tu Vishan’s awakening a few months ago will appear again early in the month to confirm just what the researchers have discovered. He's visible in the streets, but as before, his direct communication is, well, indirect - the message is carried through a dream to everyone in Keeliai.
He thought he was powerful enough to stop it. But he wasn’t.
He assures that all is not lost however and that he’s going to have to take much more drastic measures to ensure the continued existence of life in Konryu. He advises all to remain calm, as he will have more information soon. And to wait for the return of his children.

LET'S DO THE TIMEWARP AGAIN
The collision with the Death Plane has caused time to behave strangely. The repeating network transmissions earlier in the month were just a taste of this strangeness. Some people will be a few hours ahead or behind others as the ‘present’ becomes relative. For those Foreigners from modern Earth, some oddities will resemble glitches in The Matrix - deja vu-like instances where the same event occurs twice in a row, like an object being knocked off a shelf or a door swinging shut. They may also see brief glimpses of past events play out, though they will be distorted, brief and barely coherent.

NPCs & Families
Many of the Guilds have focused their attentions on either pursuing a solution to the planes colliding or minimizing the public panic and resulting damage. Most of the guild personnel will be run ragged and some more mundane administrative tasks have fallen by the wayside. However, as a whole they're banding together more than ever, in the efforts to keep things minimally on fire.
It's just a shame such unity can't be similarly achieved in times of peace. Perhaps fortunately, no one has time to voice these sentiments aloud.

Economy
While many are determined to ride out this particular disaster, there’s a rather nihilistic attitude that’s no better reflected than in the economy. Some are coping by treating themselves to some expensive luxuries they always wanted (whether they can afford it or not), others by stealing and looting. Some people just do not really care and can be found drowning their sorrows at various pubs.
Crime
With the news that the end is very possibly nigh, there’s an uptick in robbery and looting, made easier by the heavy fog. Hey, may as well make the most of the last days, right?
Technology
While some technological development goes towards dealing with the lingering fog - increased lighting along city streets and hunting down bugs in the console system, for example - most energy is spent on the issue of the planes. Researchers at the College continue to run different kinds of analyses in an attempt to better understand exactly what is happening. Others, with the help of the engineering chops of the Metal Sector, are looking into ways to counteract the breakdown between the planes, or at the very least slow the progression. Needless to say, there are a lot of grim-faced technicians this month.
