Activity Check | September 1-30, 2017
This period of AC covers September 1st to September 30th and is different from regular activity checks! As mentioned in our October Itinerary, there are game changes coming soon which will be outlined in our next State of the Shell next week.
In light of that, and because the game has been considerably slow, we're offering a different type of check in AC this month. Instead of requiring a comment count, we're asking for a brief summary of characters' happenings for the past month. A couple of sentences should be sufficient, just so we know they're still kicking around.
Regular bonus point AC is still available for those who have the threads! Submit those are normal in the AC form. Please be aware that the check in IS mandatory unless you're on hiatus. Thank you!

Character Notes for September: Midii's main contribution this month was initiating a discussion on allergies, which is leading her to now attempt some all-natural antihistamines for those who have been suffering without them. She may or may not also be dabbling in baking recipes with the spices she's gathered during her herbalism lessons

Character Notes for September: Zatanna is currently drowning her sorrows in Tony's gelato, courtesy of the best gal pal a magician could ask for, after her boyfriend was spirited away yet again. She's also delegating some of her inter-Guild chores to Sonja for the time being as she works on getting the Welcome Center back to solo-managing. She will absolutely try to make the upcoming holidays as holiday-fun as possible in Jack's memory.

Conan tried to recreate Sherlock's notes from memory and talked to Valdis about the project. Bucky tried to cook and burned dinner, so they went out to eat. He found some shady dealing among the merchants at the night market, and started investigating this with Alex. He got into an argument with Devin over being an unaccompanied minor.

Danny met Pepper on patrol, and may or may not be headed for ice cream. He made a post asking whether anyone would be interested if he set up his telescope some night, and as a result is now planning an astronomy viewing party for October.

Character Notes for September: Continuing to run the Healers' Guild, though there's a continuing sort of transfer of power, as Raine ensures that it can function without her and that Suhiet has the support she needs to run things. If Raine didn't have a roommate she'd probably have just been a hermit entirely this month, but fortunately Sheena is there to keep her out of the kitchen.
Raine's been trying to take up a hobby. She will probably start trying to shake people down for chess matches soon.

Character Notes for September: Welp... After returning in August, Sheena's been moving along full steam running The Jasmine Dragon and keeping Raine out of the kitchen. She's also been distributing her homemade healing/mana restoring gels, and thanks to a few conversations, may be bugging Raine and Suhiet for ways to make them for allergies. (Benygel, anyone?)
She's also been training (as usual), and working on that whole archery thing she spoke about. (She's not bad, okay? She just needs some more practice.)
And she's just going to keep making sure Raine isn't a hermit.

Character Notes for September: Valdis has been doing paperwork and patrolling the sectors almost constantly, when she isn't teaching at the Dojo that is. She's mostly been trying to figure out how to deal with the Cultist threat. She's given some tasks to Conan and argued with Devin over his attitude (but that's not new).

Character Notes for September:
Brigid has been throwing herself into the shelter. Making sure that there are enough donations - there are - and that everyone is settled, and okay. She's starting to help the few kedan staying there look for more permanent housing. She's trying to speak to landlords about maybe reducing rent, or coming up with someway to transition the homeless to having homes.
She's also loving that she has a boyfriend. Their relationship is slow but steady, and she's very comfortable with that.
Brigid is also starting to really worry about going back. She's not sure that she wants to any more, and that means a worry about having an Alpha, and other things that she's not sure she can handle on her own and doesn't know anyone enough to handle here.

Character Notes for September:
Bucky is still the creeper in the trees. He's found himself several comfortable perches where he can just observe the kedan-condition and where he can step in if necessary. He's got a pretty good relationship with the kedan. He respects them and their abilities, and they don't treat him as less than because of his missing arm.
He's staying with Conan and finding that he doesn't really mind it so much. Sure, Bucky can't cook, but Conan's a good kid, and he respects Bucky's space, and that's all that is needed.
He's missing Steve more and more. He won't show it, but being around the police, and others is the only way to ease that ache a little, and even that isn't working very well.

Character Notes for September: Elizabeth returned from the Dreaming after three months in limbo, so she's getting herself reacquainted with people and trying to pick up where she left off.

Character Notes for September: Bakura is starting to make his move re: his deal due to prodding from Zorc that's getting more insistent. He's sort of let Pepper in on the secret, but he's trying to be careful on that front just because Zorc took his ghosts away before so let's not piss off the demon entity too badly.

Character Notes for September: Zelos has learned why reading porn over the network without warning is a bad idea. On top of that, he dragged Kratos out to see a show after work one day, and he greeted Elizabeth when she announced her return, in large part because her return was so similar to Sheena's last month. What is it with people vanishing and returning like that. Stop it.

Character Notes for September: At the Night Market, Alex and Conan stumbled onto what may be the beginning of an interesting case of money laundering! Alex also went to go speak to Valdis, mostly because he didn't want to do his paperwork, and it was lucky that she didn't want to do hers either. He complimented her on the ball, because that was a pretty sweet ball.

Character Notes for September: Miles, the wonderful flower that he is, decided to try and sort-of flirt with Enjolras and just generally be annoying at him. (That's how you flirt, right?) He's also encouraged the astronomy night and is surprisingly excited for it.

Character Notes for September: Aly has been using her powers of transformation to romp and bother Kylo, not necessarily in that order. She will likely continue using that form to bother Kylo in a sort of black-dog type of way. She has also been bothering her other favorite target, Devin, and trying to get him to treat her like an adult. It's not working.

He's avoiding Aly, generally, and still working at the KPD; Valdis recently gave him a bit of a history lesson that led to some new ideas about tracking cultists. Most of the time when he jumps on the network, it's been to pester someone, although this may have backfired a little with Kratos. He's also thinking about moving out of the Hotel.
