That's a question with a complicated answer. Suffice to say that there were certain allegiances I couldn't easily break. Even though I should have.

I needed the freedom to move around certain areas, in order to help my friends. I wouldn't have had it, if I'd broken those ties. And -- I still wanted to believe that certain people within those allegiances could be saved.
