CHARACTER: Klaus Von Reinherz / [personal profile] purered
CANON: Blood Blockade Battlefront

CURRENT STATUS: Klaus recently helped organize the turtle's move. Even more recently he's been comparing notes with others to try and wake the turtle up - he suspects the key might be in utilizing the power of the Xunetane. Generally does his thing working in a little flower shop to bring in income.

CR GOALS: Mostly looking for him to get out more and actually enjoy life. He's a very goal-oriented person so having him loosen up a little would be nice.

DIPLOMACY DEALINGS: Klaus is determined to get the Foreigners and Kedan on the same page. While he dislikes Tu Yunxu on principle, the other families seem like a promising alliance in both deposing the Snakes and getting important shit done.

Major diplomatic concerns are as follows -

Chihuelans: He's seen them in Hatal and he doesn't like how nosy they've been. Something is up.

Hatal: He wants good relations with Hatal, especially if he is going to propose the idea of using their #1 power source to give that extra burst of energy to wake Tu Vishan.

The Families: They hold the most power in Keeliai and are well-respected. He suspects Tu Yunxu is trying to push the Kedan to have a lesser opinion of the Foreigners and some recent occurrences have lent credence to otherwise baseless rumormongering. He's hoping to re-establish better relations by encouraging ways to work together.

He fully supports the idea for a police force, though he also firmly believes it should be largely run by the Kedan.

SCENE-DOS: I'm faster with network posts but I love writing prose. I love angst, fluff, plot, SoL - anything really. I can't fixate on just one thing so having a number of things to work on for this character is gr8.

SCENE-DON'TS: My hard-nos for Klaus don't apply to this game so nothing to worry about on that front.

CHARACTER: Yorda / [personal profile] shroudofgray
CANON: ICO

CURRENT STATUS: Yorda is learning. What is Yorda learning? Lot's of things. She is a little sponge soaking up information as well as having the opportunity to explore her own abilities without the threat of the Queen looming over her.

Current things she is doing -

-Working at the hotel. She does basic chores though she's gotten very good at them.

-Becoming an entrepreneur. Need something found? She can sniff it out for you.

-Studying under Solomon. He's a slightly better influence than China at least. ...So far.

-Learning to hit things with rocks via a sling. Thank you Bakura. This is also part of her own efforts to get physically stronger.

-Learning to cook. She doesn't really need to eat, but she likes to because food is awesome.

CR GOALS: Yorda's an incredibly social character and can and will stick her nose in anything that she's curious about. If you want to opt in for mild prophetic shit or plan something with her powers, here is the place to do it.

Aside from plotty stuff, I want her to make friends - particularly friends her own age so she can get some degree of normalcy in her life. In many regards she's very stunted and seeing where she should be will help with that.

A way to get her attention is weird magic or supernatural shit, birds, ghosts and dead things, birds, shiny things, food, new stuff she hasn't tried and she really, really likes birds.

DIPLOMACY DEALINGS: Yorda isn't exactly someone you'd want at a diplomatic dinner, but she can be useful to investigations - especially if she ever gets some degree of control over her powers and it isn't just left to luck and happenstance.

SCENE-DOS: Anything and everything. It's very easy to get her talking and if you want to make use of her powers for plotty reasons (either game-wise or just for your character) she can definitely pull of some cool stuff. Especially if you don't mind unexpected results since she is, very much, still learning.

SCENE-DON'TS: Probably not something I have to worry about but shippy stuff in general. She's not in a mental or emotional place where she would really understand what is going on.

ADDITIONAL:


CHARACTER: Balthier / [personal profile] flybyshooting
CANON: Final Fantasy XII

CURRENT STATUS: Balthier lives in a brothel and is working on a 'project'. He's also planning to open up his own workshop in the Fire Sector for those who want magitech of a more Ivalician flair. ...And no legal hassal.

CR GOALS: A partner (or partners) in crime to deal in brokering information, undermining the Snakes and tweaking the noses of law enforcement.

DIPLOMACY DEALINGS: There is a reason Balthier doesn't play politics and the reason is the last time he got involved he wound up having to kill his father and got a sky fortress dropped on his head for his trouble (and never actually got paid either). So he's laying low for now. Without any real law enforcement (yet), actively stealing anything has no appeal so he's turning to his other great passion which is engineering and magitech. He is keeping his ear to the ground for any interesting information and mostly supplementing his lifestyle through cons and pickpocketing.

I would love to put him out there to make some actual friends and actually get him to do the whole sky pirating thing.

SCENE-DOS: Everything. I love both negative and positive CR for Balthier because he is a self-serving bastard (unless he likes you).

SCENE-DON'TS: None I can think of.
