Sometimes their presence is felt in the growing urge to give into one's darker instincts, especially in such a foreign place...

How are you going to fend them off, or help someone who might have been injured by the latest dive bombing??

[It's the only part of the girl's answer Tara feels qualified to comment on. It's terrible and frightening that neither of them know where they are, but Tara's smiling a little now. At least it isn't just her. They can figure it out together.]

Nope. One minute cooking some fish, next minute weird city central.
[She interlaces her fingers, stretches them out, and stands-- she's maybe a bit past five feet when she's fully vertical. She offers a hand down to her new acquaintance.]
It could be worse. People could be trying to kill us.
[Something about the lopsided smile says she's actually serious about this one.]

That's true. [She moves to fold her arms, an old habit Tara thought she broke. Must be this new weirdness, putting her on her guard. She consciously moves her arms back down to her sides and gives the girl a smile a little at odds with what she says next.] Does that happen to you a lot?
