[ agito is intrigued - akito can feel him brimming with excitement in their mind, and lending him an added boost of speed and power. lind is... somewhere. not helping, but definitely watching what's going on, as usual.
he lunges forward quick enough that a lesser skilled person might think he teleported. while still not as fast as kazu - fast enough to manipulate time - they've always been quick and agile.
akito doesn't aim for a melee kick, but aims a quick kick in the man's direction from not-quite behind, shooting a razor blade of wind towards him. ]

I haven't sailed with them yet. But their captain is one of my brothers, and the crew of his I've met so far are my nakama in spirit if nothing else!

[ definitely has been influenced by ace, this one here. whether for better or worse, who knows? but at least he is 110% confident in his statement, regardless of never meeting two of them...
And only recently learning about Sabo's existence.
That's only a minor issue though. totally no big deal!
And Akito can't help but be thankful for Zoro's presence in their lives, because without it he wouldn't know how to deflect a saber, or have his ko-wakizashi on hand to deflect it with. He knows he has very little in the way of brute strength, and therefore he uses his enemy's momentum against them, trusting the strength of his one-of-a-kind alloy blade. it practically hums, and sends faint vibrations through the opposing saber.
He really, really wishes that the katana he was working on was finished by now. the extra length would have been nice for added defense.. ]
I will get there someday. Only after I'm seventeen and can be an asset to Luffy-nii instead of a hindrance.
