The Great Enemy may have been defeated over two years ago, and people are even willing to speak Malicant's name aloud now, but there remains a taint in the city never fully purged. Those who consider Malicant a dark god whose end was unjust are the cultists of Keeliai, and they aren't always so easy to identify as one might think. Sometimes their presence is felt in the growing urge to give into one's darker instincts, especially in such a foreign place...

Every city has its vices, and Keeliai is no different. Perhaps you actively sought it out, or perhaps an opportunistic dealer saw you as a potential customer needing a free sample, but you're now in possession of a packet of Lucid, an emotion-enhancing drug. Interested in finding out what happens when you crush that colourful crystal and ingest it?

Tu Vishan's latest landfall stop has brought an unwelcome problem to its residents: enormous, toothy creatures who look more like pterosaurs than most people are comfortable with! With a twenty-foot wingspan, these aren't exactly harmless local wildlife, and they have a nasty habit of swooping down on targets both Foreigner and kedan! How are you going to fend them off, or help someone who might have been injured by the latest dive bombing??

Go nuts. Suddenly your character is fighting dragons! Good God, they've found the Millennium Falcon drifting in the ocean! Do you really feel the need to polish every paving stone in the Earth Sector? Anything goes!

[Her tone is impatient but it's only because catching her breath while trying to think and feeling guilty for hitting a bystander is incredibly difficult to do all at once. She drops her hold on his wrist and looks around. The creature is close enough that running isn't going to do them any good.
She has a broom stick. She's going to fight. She turns to face the direction they've run from, taking on a defensive pose. It's good timing, as the creature swoops down into sight.]
If that's a weapon under your coat, feel free to show me how to go about doing this the right way!

The pterosaur seems mostly fixed on Rey. This gives Shay the oppertunity to stop and aim, firing a dart across it's muzzle. The projectile embeds itself in a tree trunk and starts sparkling and crackling away.]

Her head turns when he pulls out the weapon, eyes widening as he loads and fires it.]
That will do. Keep at it!
[She's grinning as she motions for him to keep going. She moves quickly but on quiet feet toward the target. While he's firing at it she fully intends on attempting to strike through the chest to reach the heart. And if that fails, going through the eye to stop the brain from functioning.]

[This is yelled out as Shay fires another dart to keep the creature's attention focused on the firecracker darts.]

This time she simply smacks it upside the head. A warning that ends with her being knocked back and away. She's nimble enough to hop right back up on her feet but keeps her distance.]

[His hand is already reaching for the pouch containing the other darts for his rifle, feeling for the sleeping darts. He takes out a couple, loading them into the rifle.]

[She's just going to be jamming the broom stick into the ground and leaning up against it to catch her breath.]

He fires. One, two, three darts into the chest, before lowering the weapon to sling it back over his shoulder. A hand strays to the pommel of the sword sheathed at his side as the creature screeches in pain, flapping it's wings, before the sedative starts to take effect.]

[He's done this before. Once. And it almost cost him all of his stock of darts.]

[Her pace becomes faster. All she wants to do now is get somewhere safe. She's seen enough violence recently to last her a lifetime. Once they're a good distance away she relaxes and stops walking so she can look up at him.]

[Rey doesn't ever enjoy feeling foolish, so she protests that it wasn't her fault trouble had found her yet again.]
I haven't been by the Welcome Centre yet though. I wanted to explore on my own before I did.
