Hi guys! My name's Dirk, and I am completely and totally new to this community (though I'm old hat to journal-based roleplay). I'm 34 years old and apprentice as a beekeeper while I work (slowly) on getting an education in environmental science.
Anyway, today I'm bringing you LQ-84i, aka Bladewolf, from the Metal Gear Solid spin-off "Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance". He's an artificial intelligence that was developed specifically to replace human soldiers in armed combat, but since his creators never thought to instill a sense of brutality in him, he's a complete and utter failure as a weapon. He was activated by a private military force and was forced to work and kill for them for a short time, before being "rescued" (as in he was chopped into tiny little bits and then salvaged) by the game's protagonist, a Cyborg Ninja called Raiden.
Bladewolf is loyal, if snarky, and has immense curiosity about pretty much everything, and because of the way he was programmed, can't really tell people apart at first glance (he was programmed to recognize digital identification signatures, rather than remembering faces). He's an expert tracker, and can throw things with a three-fingered manipulator on the tip of his tail. He's coming to the turtle after having ridden in an experimental aircraft on the way to Pakistan to prevent an insane politician from starting World War III with a giant robot, and is carrying around a really fancy sword in his mouth.
Also? He's got a really cool character theme on the game's soundtrack.
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to playing with you all! :-D

PUPPY reaction is appropriate on some level thenAbigail will be glad to explain what she can, but if his questions take her out of her knowledge territory, she'll suggest he speak with her father instead. In which case she'll want to hear the answer too so she can also learn.
