Christmas '2016'
The following events will occur on the 25th of December 2016:
Anton
An envelope tied with a red ribbon will be on the front desk of the Midnight Hotel with Anton’s name written on it in well practiced cursive. Inside is a sketch of himself and Valdis dancing at the Masquerade Ball. Ár gcéad rince- d'iníon grámhara, Valdis. Is written on the back.
Erskine
Erskine will open the downstairs closet and taped to the broom is an envelope. Inside the envelope is a drawing of a small rabbit with a bowtie around its neck, and one ear flopped down while the other was almost upright.
You were the best rabbit ever, is written on the back, in Valdis’ handwriting.
Raine
A Kedan child will deliver an envelope to Raine’s office in the Healer’s Guild. Inside is an elegant sketch of herself and Solomon Wreath, holding hands and walking down the street toward their home. If she flips the picture over, she will find that there is writing on the back.
I felt it was time you had a proper picture of the both of you and since Tony hasn’t invented cameras yet, this was the best I could do. -Valdis
Solomon
A knock at the apartment door will alert Solomon to the presence of a visitor. Without a word the visitor will hand him an envelope. Inside, written in raised letters is the Song of the Valkyries. A small note at the bottom, also in raised letters says: I wanted to thank you for sharing a story with me and I felt that it was only right to share one with you in return.- Valdis
Pepper
An envelope will be slid under the door to Pepper’s home. Inside is the sketch that Meira did of her in the armor on the roof. Thank you for your kindness. May it ever be a bright light in the darkness. -Valdis
Skulduggery
A kedan child will deliver a small package to Skulduggery sometime on Christmas day. Nestled inside is a small letter opener designed to look exactly like Revelations. There is a small note folded inside that reads: You can touch this one, no sword antibodies required, I promise.-Valdis
Bakura
A small package will appear on Bakura’s desk. Inside is a small golden colored dagger, the hilt designed to look like the wings and head of an Egyptian styled hawk with green glass eyes. The only other detail is a small note that reads, Since I didn't give you a proper present for your birthday. Merry Christmas. -Valdis
Gene
An envelope will be slipped under Gene’s door. Inside is a sketch of himself, Tony and Pepper. Tony has a slight smile on his face, while Gene looks rather glum, but Pepper is openly enthusiastic. The sketch is clearly meant to be reminiscent of a family photo. On the back is a handwritten note from Valdis, Since Tony has neglected to invent the camera yet, this if for your home. Remember to feed the good wolf. -Valdis
Tu Yunxu
Not to leave any of her important relationships out, one of the Snakes will deliver an envelope to Tu Yunxu. Inside is a detailed and masterful sketch of his mansion from a viewpoint above the front gates. A short note on the back reads: For the King of Serpents from the Queen of Hounds.
The rest of the foreigners will receive little notes wishing them a Merry Christmas, accompanied by some of the local sweets.
