[Cullen isn't entirely startled at the man's approach--he's aware enough to keep tabs on the people moving around him even as he's playing, and playing chess against himself isn't nearly so engrossing as playing against someone else. (Particularly when that someone is a cheating spymaster or a cocky Tevinter mage.) He looks up at the man's approach....

Sweet Andraste, if he didn't know any better he'd swear he was looking at a Qunari. Maybe a hornless, red-headed Qunari?
