When the girl drops to her knees, Dove is openly startled and nearly takes a half step back in surprise. She recovers quickly, though, and kneels at the same level, her hands gently taking the other girl's shoulders and passing some of her warmth to her to help set her nerves at ease as they talk.
This girl has been through a lot, and immediately, Dove is unable to fight the urge to take her under her wing. She offers a small understanding smile.
"You've just gotten here, haven't you?" she asks calmly. Finding herself on a Turtle could never be trumped by other experiences; it seemed to be that way for nearly every foreigner she had met. "You're in a city called Keeliai..." A few moments pause as she attempted to figure out a safe and calming course of action. She couldn't bring herself to tell the poor girl the full details in the middle of the street.
"Would you like to come have some tea with me? I can explain as much as I know, if you'd like, and there's an excellent tea shop nearby."
