Having someone who knows and can use wind well will be good. As I remember, wind patterns do affect currents quite a bit, so one, he can potentially make it easier for them so they're not fighting against those, and two, it's one more force pushing at the turtle.

The beauty of this plot is that no one has to move the turtle by themselves. Everybody contributing a bit is what's going to get him to move.
