Louis turned slowly, a mixture of emotions that played out as irritation on his features as he laid his bright green gaze upon the intimately familiar figure of one Lestat de Lioncourt.
The irritation was merely for show, for his heart and what could be considered a soul perhaps, sang like a cathedral choir boy for the knowledge that this creator was here, and that he looked well and healthy. Louis's features calmed and slowly, and so very subtly, he had the makings of a smile play at his lips instead.
"Monsieur," Louis greeted his long-time companion, with a bow of his head which would look respectful if Lestat didn't know him well enough to know it was meant ironically. "I would have never expected to see you here. You are looking well." Meaning: well fed.
