More politics plotting!

Alight, so Tarrlok is still taking nominations for council; if anyone wants to throw their character's name in please do!! I was thinking we'd do a public forum about it sometime earlier in next week (Monday/Tuesday perhaps?), and then have the actual vote sometime later in the week (Friday/Saturday?) so everything would be done in October, if that sounds alright to everyone.

And, as far as the vote goes, the popular suggestion seems to be about 3-4 characters on council at the current moment. What I want to know is, how would you like to play the vote out ICly if we only get 3-4 nominations? (also STEVE-MUN if you are reading this, is Steve going to be accepting his nomination?)

Suggestions for the forum and vote in general would be awesome, too.

The current candidates are Tarrlok, Peggy Carter, and Steve Rogers. Nominations will be accepted up until the vote but ones nominated later may miss the public forum.

I'd like to support the idea that a council chairman be elected and the remaining candidates fill out the rest of the cabinet. The only hurdle I can think of is defining the roles of chairman and his/her cabinet.

That is not a bad idea? And it gives everyone a chance to participate without necessarily needing the votes to do so. There could be people who want to join in but maybe their characters aren't the most well known and thus might lack said votes.

That was my thinking to include characters that aren't the winners of every popularity contest but would otherwise be suited to the role.

That, and I just want to see Peggy or Steve and Tarrlok bickering like backseat drivers. Sue me.

That could work...I'm not sure what exactly the chairman would do though not that Tarrlok would acknowledge anyone being ranked above himself anyways
