GUYS GUYS I REMEMBERED THE BIMONTHLY MEME IN THE CORRECT MONTH LOOK AT ME GO

hey! it's time for a cr with me meme! Welcome to the spring edition of the CR Meme! Now that we've gotten settled into the new storyline, it's time to start heating things up in the big turtle city. For players who've joined us since our last meme, these ~bimonthly memes are our opportunity to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're looking for your characters. Because of this, we do ask that you be as specific as you can when replying to this meme! 'Our characters should team up to moon Tu Yunxu' is more useful than 'omg tag me.' We have two helpful sections titled "Current Status" for a summary of what your character's been up to, and "CR Goals" for the plotting and discussion of gaps in your character's CR spectrum that you would like to fill! We've also got a section for indicating what kinds of CR you're especially looking for, as well as types of threads you're not interested in. ALSO this month, we have a special addition called "4th Wall Plans", in case you want to talk about or be enabled into some ideas you have for the upcoming April 4th wall event. CHARACTER: Valdis
CANON: OC
PERSONALITY: Usually cold, manipulative and antagonistic, although she does have a gentler, kinder side. She is slow to trust, but fiercely loyal to her friends. She will often think one way and act another, so you can never really know what is going through her mind. She is generally pretty bold and is trying very hard to be honest and trustworthy.

CURRENT STATUS: Valdis is in flux. With the events of the last landfall and the disappearance of her lover, the barrier between her soul and the Void is deteriorating causing nightmares, mood swings and memory loss. In addition she has a vendetta against Tu Yunxu and is actively attempting to displace him from power. She is living in the Midnight Hotel and currently beginning to isolate herself.


CR GOALS: I want some new CR but would also love to develop current CR more. In particular I would love some more positive CR.

SCENE-DOS: Turtle Soap Opera is amazing. I enjoy drama, but could use a bit more fluff right now considering how much I am screwing with my poor character. My definition of fluff can be a bit screwy, but poor Valdis has had very little happy fluff lately. I like plotty things and tend to plan ahead. I also like prose...a lot, I prefer it to network and action spam.


SCENE-DON'TS: For the most part, I dislike slice-of-life, but otherwise I am pretty open to anything.


4TH WALL PLANS: I have a few OC's that I might throw at it, but otherwise no plans. And I'm pretty much a one-trick puppy, meaning most of my OC's are similar.

I really love Jackie and Valdis' CR. I wish to cultivate more.

I am really quite pleasantly surprised by how well their CR is going and yes, I want more of it.

Perhaps they could play chess or something? Or discuss strategy? Something that they both have in common and could bond over.

I know nothing very little about chess, but Valdis is supposed to be pretty good at strategy, so I can pretend. XD
