SOCKS FOR EVERYONE

All the player characters are going to find themselves with socks on Christmas Day. Gloriously warm, comfortable socks. Anyone still at the Hotel will find them on their beds; anyone not will find them just inside the door to their new habitation. Those whom Anton don't know well can assume that the socks are favourite/second favourite colours, or at least coordinate with their standard style of outfit.

For people with whom Anton has closer CR:

Bakura will get a silver pair with black silhouetted hieroglyphs and this saying lining the hem: 'The kingdom of the gods is within you; and whosoever shall know himself shall find it.'
Dante's are red with gold thread on the hems.
Jack got a pair of open sandals instead of socks, since Anton is assuming he's not affected by the cold. Protect your feet, boyo.
Raine's are grey with an old traveller's prayer in Old Irish around the hem: 'May the road rise with you.'
Skulduggery doesn't really need socks, but loves hats. So he got a Santa hat. Scrooge. ... And a tiny wooden model of a Bentley hidden inside.
Sokka's are blue, with a line around the hem made up of silhouetted ... saber-toothed mice.
Valdis got a green pair, with this inscription in silver Old Norse around the hem: 'In sweet converse call the righteous to thy side; learn a healing song while thou livest.'
Wan's are dark green, with a lighter-green pattern of ivy and trees around the hem.

The day of randomly appearing socks! It will be a grand celebration! I'm serious. Wan has never been given new socks before. For winter, he just wraps his feet in heavy cloth. He's going to wear these all the time, everywhere.

Anton has gotten very good at making socks over the centuries, so these will last long and remain warm. :3

Wan may wind up with more randomly appearing socks, if Anton notices these ones are all he's wearing all the time. Everyone deserves to have enough socks gdi.

Anton has a bit of a Thing, apparently. It sucks to be in a muddy ditch in the middle of winter in the middle of nowhere and not have socks to keep your boots from chafing.

Heaven would be socks for everyone, always, forever.

Wan cannot disagree with this. He's actually never owned a pair of socks before. Ever. He was a poor, dirty, street kid and is lucky to have decent sandals that have lasted him years. Socks are very much a luxury for him. My first post to the network when I make a new post will probably be him ecstatically showing off his new socks.
