+1 Jedi

WHADDUP, TU SHANSHU? I'm Gen and I'm bringing this Jedi derp to the game! I'm a new as well and, though Luke has no castmates here and I don't think I know anyone currently playing here, I simply fell in love with the premise. It sounds amazing and I can't wait to dive right in. I think Luke will be a really excellent fit here.

This Luke is from immediately after the events of Return of the Jedi. For those who aren't so familiar with the space fantasy from a long time ago and far, far away, Luke is still very young and he hasn't quite mastered the art of being a Jedi (aka space wizard) but he's far wiser and more controlled than he's ever been. He's also an extremely gifted Jedi and has advanced much faster than most others due to the fact that he's the grandson of the freaking Force itself. It does that, apparently. He's very powerful but he's (mostly) humble, self-sacrificing, and quite friendly. He also has a very stubborn side, he's fiercely loyal, can be impatient and reckless, but also has a great sense of humor and has been known to mildly troll people.

In his canon Luke just achieved a great victory against the evil empire (sadly, losing his father in the process) and is a bit tired of war, frankly. He was also recently Force-lightning'd so he'll be a little sore and slow to move around for a few days after arriving. Because of this he might briefly be a bit on the cranky side, though as a Jedi he simply can't turn down an opportunity to help people. Once he recovers he'll step right up to the plate and do what he can.

He'll be rooming in the Wood Sector in suite Mu-Gai.

I can't wait to play with you all!

Psh, that just means you've both aged well!

Sort-of both! Detailed information is available in the setting section of his app, but in a nutshell Necromancy in his canon is a religion as well as a magic, and their ultimate goal is to 'rescue' humanity from death by making everyone immortal ... by using a method which requires the sacrificial murder of half the planet. Most Necromancers claim it's 'saving' humanity, but in reality most of them are just selfish bastards too scared of death to face it.

Solomon is eccentric because he actually does believe it would save humanity, and he's more self-sacrificing than most Necromancers are. He's basically a jerk with a heart of gold--he means well, but he's been brainwashed. He's smart enough to snap out of it if he wants to, but he doesn't want to, because that means facing the truth about what he's been doing wrong his whole life. So he keeps compounding the issue by shoving aside pesky morality feelings.

That being said he's reached a point in Tushan where he's realised he doesn't have the stones to go through with the whole mass-murder thing, but he's flatly denying it in the interim.

... It's a long nutshell, but I swear it's the nutshell. <.< >.>

I agree, yes! I don't tend to plot things out in detail until I know how well the characters mesh, but I'm taking a look at Luke's open post now to see if there's somewhere I can throw Sol into it.
