Hello, chelonauts! Time to kickstart some new plots and schemes for our characters leading into our summer season.

When it comes to our CR meme, we do ask that you be as specific as you can! 'Our characters should team up to moon Evandau' is going to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're looking for better than 'omg tag me.' We're still using the modified form, including the two sections titled "Current Status" for a summary of what your character's been up to and "CR Goals" for the plotting and discussion of gaps in your character's CR spectrum that you would like to fill!

Riva's parents need to interact more. Especially if Midii's in a low place, Sep will want to be there for her. She reminds him of his sister-in-law less than Rapunzel does, but some of it's there, and he's always had a soft spot for kids in low places who need some gentleness and support.

Also, besides the social media meme proving Zee and Lois need to have shenanigans, I'd really, really like Septimus and Zatanna to meet, especially given his plans to try getting people organized. (I expect he will find her delightful.)

Aya and Lois should probably also meet--she's one of the few DCU-related people Lois doesn't really know anything about, and could totally want to talk about improving radio tech somehow without it being corruptible by Malicant.

EDIT: In light of the result of Palace stuff, Septimus and either Aya or Zee might be really good for some 'realization about what happened with the barrier' and getting that information out ICly, I'd love that as a possibility with either of them.

Whoo, so much plotting! Let me see if I can respond to all of this:

Septimus ➔ Midii: I would love to do more things with Turtle parents. I think Riva is one of the few who've been fortunate enough to maintain the same turtle mommies and daddies since her hatching, actually, for what that's worth. Maybe we should do a special log for the three of them? Either this week, or--if we want to wait until the new month for AC reasons, put something up on the 1st, plot permitting?

Septimus ➔ Aya or Zee re: Palace stuff: Zatanna made a promise to Jack that she would stay away from the palace--something about it genuinely frightened him when she mentioned wanting to take a look--so anything she ends up sensing would be from a great distance. But Aya would definitely be on-board, especially considering they worked together to raid the Throne Room, although she's going to be busy with tech stuff. But Septimus is also welcome to stumble across Zatanna any time you like.

Lois ➔ Zee: I still have an open log for when Zatanna was sick earlier this month, as well as her Birthday Network Post, if Lois wanted to get in on that. Because you're right; that meme thread was hilarious, and these two need to talk more often. Especially given Things happening in Zee's life as of late.

Lois ➔ Aya: I'm actually in the process of doing a wright-up regarding the radio tech idea, because I'm thinking of turning this into a player plot. But since I don't have all tech-interested people on my plurk, I wanted to get some fellow player input before deciding the outline of how this is going to work. Lois is also more than welcome to stop by Aya's open Log as well, since she's doing a lot of the tech work there (and, in fact, is currently collaborating with Clark)

Midii: Since before her hatching, even. And yeah, maybe given how late into the month it is we should wait until June 1st (plot permitting); actually, helping each other move might be adorable.

Zee: Yeah, I was thinking about having Sep drop by Zee Onna Rooftop, especially since healer and he flies--and Lois will definitely be poking that birthday post, poor girl.

Aya: Ooooh, excellent. And yeah, Lois and Clark were talking about him working with her on some tech research (partly Lois wanted to encourage him not to try to do everything himself). But yes, given that they worked together, and knowing she does tech stuff while he does magic, Septimus would almost certainly go to her to see what data she gets.

Zee Go right ahead! At that point, she's mostly healed from the Spores and just suffering from residual exhaustion and severe cabin fever, but it would make for a good conversation starter. AND LOIS IT'S HER PARTY AND SHE'LL CRY WHINE IF SHE WANTS TO for as long as it takes Jack to get his Frosty butt over there and kidnap her~

Re: Aya, how do you want to do that/when do you want to set it, so that there's a time to let people know and hopefully sooner rather than later?

I was thinking of leaving the occ post a few more days to give people the chance to see it, and then put in the request later this week, with the official availability of the two-way portable radios being made JUNE 1st.

A new month, a new plot, y'know?

Oh! Hah, I'd not really been thinking about the radio part. I'd been thinking about Sep and Aya and figuring out barrier stuff. /fails at articulating things when on almost no sleep

I'd honestly sort of forgotten about the barrier one, honestly. Especially since I...don't really have an immediately solution or answer to that one. >.>

Heh. Yeah. I mean, the whole fluctuations thing is supposed to be discovered IC? And Aya's got techy scanning abilities that can probably read some of the energy, and Sep's got magicky senses, so between them they might be able to notice?

Just a matter of figuring out how.

I have no doubt Aya would notice, if such fluctuations were drawn to her attention. She doesn't just automatically know to scan things like this, after all. She's good, but not that good.

But if a single person were to say HEY SOMETHING'S UP WIH THE BARRIER, then I have no doubt a single week's worth or readings would be enough to give her a strong hypothesis to work with.

Yeah. I-- hmm. Well, maybe let's leave figuring the details of this one for June. Septimus is probably going to do a thing as soon as I'm slightly more caught up on tags anyway.

I think most people are kind of "done" with May, to be perfectly honest, given the lack of things happening right now. And since I'm good with AC, I'm perfectly happy with waiting until a fresh new month with all the upcoming new plots and shenanigans to start up a few of my own.
