Hello, chelonauts! Time to kickstart some new plots and schemes for our characters leading into our summer season.

When it comes to our CR meme, we do ask that you be as specific as you can! 'Our characters should team up to moon Evandau' is going to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're looking for better than 'omg tag me.' We're still using the modified form, including the two sections titled "Current Status" for a summary of what your character's been up to and "CR Goals" for the plotting and discussion of gaps in your character's CR spectrum that you would like to fill!

That humanity's been driven to near extinction in Armin's world will probably shock Rex some if he finds out about it because let's face it, that crap is extreme. But huge, monstrous creatures rampaging through populated areas, killing/eating/hurting people and generally making a huge mess of things is stuff Rex has dealt with before. Hell, he's even been swallowed a few times and forced to cut his way free.

I'd be all for funny errors when it comes to learning Kedanese! That'd definitely make the situation interesting and even entertaining. Plus if Rex accidentally learns a bit incorrectly here and there, it would sort of mirror his ability to speak Spanish, which is passable at times and kind of awful at others. XD;

Haha yeah AoT is not known for being subtle about anything, it is usually the "we are the last less that a million people alive" thing that bothers dudes. But hey, they can bond over having been in the mouth of something that'd take you on a little piece of toast with a squeeze of lemon. :|

Bonding over gross stuff, aww yeah. Cue terrible jokes from Rex about breath mints and monster dental hygiene.

And YES GOOD. "...oh. Uh, well. At least tea makes more sense than like, mud? And tea smells good, so...um. ... Yeah, okay, nevermind. Save failed. Gonna try that again."

Alright, cool! How is your log going in the palace siege? Either Rex and Armin could meet there, or perhaps in a log or post afterwards. I'm not really sure where the log is going on my end, I think we've lost a head, so I think I might have Armin do double duty in another thread to try and get some tag momentum going.

Argh, sorry for the belated response. I didn't have much time/energy for RP things this last week due to some less than pleasant stuff going on RL.

But uh ANYWAY.

The siege log is moving kind of slowly for the group Rex is in, mostly due to everyone involved being busy, I think. I've also got him in the initial attack tag. At this point, though, it might be best to go with a log or post after the attack. Maybe just before or after everything with the current relocation is over.

It's okay! I'm in no rush. :3 After all the current buzz sounds good to me, Armin also has his hands full at the moment... He also kind of has the disadvantage of being stuck in the Wood sector most of the time because he has no method of fast travel, so we'd have to figure out a way around that.

Rex is in Metal, though he can move easily and decently quickly between the various sectors thanks to his ability to fly. So if need be, I can send him out in Armin's direction.

I guess the only thing now is how to handle having them meet up.

I don't have Armin post very often because he rarely has a hook... Well, he did just get an important scroll from the library, but I don't think he would talk about it on the network because Malicant. Err. I'm not sure how to get around that, lol. What does Rex have going on to post about?

Yeah, the consoles still being compromised is kind of an issue with something like this.

Here's a thought, though... Maybe we could use the relocation log? Since it's okay to have threads outside of the location headers, I can always start an open thread with Rex and just have him out and generally about to see who's where. Since he can get between sectors easily, he could just make a day or two of wandering around and maybe run into Armin in the Wood Sector? Rex could recognize him from the palace strike group and from there the issue of Rex not knowing how to read Kedanese could come up.
