Hello, chelonauts! Time to kickstart some new plots and schemes for our characters leading into our summer season.

When it comes to our CR meme, we do ask that you be as specific as you can! 'Our characters should team up to moon Evandau' is going to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're looking for better than 'omg tag me.' We're still using the modified form, including the two sections titled "Current Status" for a summary of what your character's been up to and "CR Goals" for the plotting and discussion of gaps in your character's CR spectrum that you would like to fill!

CHARACTER: Jack Frost
CANON: Rise of the Guardians
PERSONALITY: His titles pretty much sums it up: Spirit of Winter and Guardian of Fun! Good guy who loves kids and helping people, he has the habit of putting other people's needs before his own to ridiculous degrees.
CURRENT STATUS: Though it's neither winter and he'll be starting to wind down a little during the upcoming hot months, he's having not quite as much fun because his friends are disappearing like the polar icecaps. He's just gotten over a big mental hurdle with his and Zatanna's thing though, so everyone should tease him about what took him so long.
CR GOALS: Definitely looking to get him some new CR and make some new friendships, though I'd like to play him butting heads or having a rivalry of sorts with someone too! He doesn't get many challenges like that because he's pretty chill (ha) so that would be an interesting angle to play.

CHARACTER: River Tam
CANON: Firefly
PERSONALITY: Brilliant damaged savant girl who occasionally talks in non sequitur and reads minds.
CURRENT STATUS: Same as last time! She's been on the turtle for a couple months now so she's gotten used to being here.
CR GOALS: Even though they're not currently required, I'd love for River to find a job or such going forward. The structure would be good for her! Also to have some instances come up where she can use her Reader abilities, even passively. For those, I have her permissions post to fill out.

CHARACTER: Yami no Bakura
CANON: Yuugiou
PERSONALITY:
CURRENT STATUS: He got killed by the Mandarin during the bombings, in retribution for Bianca's disappearance which he ironically had nothing to do with, so he's searching for Gene's identity. He hasn't made too many public waves about what happened but there have been a few people asking around (Bakura, Costigan, Skulduggery) so it's definitely possible to have heard about it. The inquires are about someone in a suit of black armour. He'll be in the palace log for the prison as soon as I find some spare hours and he's also a brand new turtle papa (everyone fear!) so there's that.
CR GOALS: I'm up for anything who him! He's got some neutral to negative CR which is perfect, I'd like to get him some neutral to positive CR (if he'd stop attacking people!!) as well, since Monet has gone. He also works off and on with Costigan sometimes, such as with the palace log.

SCENE-DOS: I'm good with everything! I love doing prose logs but I'll switch up if the other person prefers action.
SCENE-DON'TS: Pretty much all fair game!!

Temeraire's one of the few people to have seen (and fought alongside) Gene in Mandarin armor, so that might be an interesting thing to play around with!

While I suspect River would not want any jobs in Septimus's area--hospital issues and all--there's always the radio! They could use a bright kid helping with the tech. Or improving it. And if River and Lois accidentally got into ~shenanigans~ well then everyone wins, right? So that's a possibility for River if you want it.

As for CR with Septimus, I can offer the follow for yours:
- Jack: Sep wants chat with him, and there are any number of logisticalish topics they could cover while Sep gets to know him.
- Bakura: It was off-screen but Septimus was working at the hospital the day Bianca was attacked. He totally knows. One of these days they really should have to interact.
- River: Honestly, River and Septimus could get very interesting. They actually have surprisingly related abilities in some ways, and frankly he's very much poking around learning who's who and who can do what.
She's very much the type to see sooner than him (or than he wants to admit to) what he's actually doing--and, well, I think he'd like her. It could get very interesting, all told.

- Jack's gonna be found at the Welcome Center much more often since it got deputized for new arrivals lol.
- Ohhh man Sep and Bakura, that is a recipe for disaster sign me up
- I plan to have River wandering in and out of places once things settle down a little. Like you said she wouldn't really go into the hospital proactively... where else does Sep hang out?

Eeexcellent. Lois will probably be somewhat confused by and inept with River at first, but I expect that growth in and of itself would make for fascinating CR.

- Yeah. Septimus will drop by some time.
- Yeeeaaah should be fun. ^_^
- Well, he definitely has a tendency to take what time he's not at the hospital and not by necessity eating or sleeping finding a nice, unoccupied area to keep in shape with furycrafting and sword. (Because really, it's generally better if people aren't around when he's flinging fireballs.) But he's also known to get restless and just go wandering somewhere until he finds something interesting? Canon, that (it's how he met his wife).

...yeah, it may say something kind of sad about him that I'm not sure he hangs out anywhere. He works. A lot. /facepalms I guess sometimes he does take trips up to the turtle's head just to induce a little quiet in his head?

And, you know, he's got some of the same odd talents she has, if in slightly different forms. He wouldn't understand the genius brain, or future tech/knowledge, or the ways in which she was damaged, but-- some of that? The Reader and associated parts?

Ooooh yeah. More interesting dynamic possibilities there.

It would be SO good for River to meet someone who's got abilities even a little bit similar to hers.

I'm not sure if it would provide her with any structure but I really think it would be fun for River to discover his smuggling activities. And she's more than welcome to use her Reader abilities on Hawke to see through the constant playful mask he's wearing. That could be interesting too.

And of course I always love Hawke and Bakura bickering at each other. He still has Bakura's knife too.

I'm always good with more Jack and Korra CR. She's got antagonistic CR with Bakura I'd like to see some more of (somehow, idk yet) and hasn't met River yet. She'll probably be weirded out by her at first I think, not sure.

Yes, they can work on rebuilding the fishing shop! And ahaha, she and Bakura are definitely due for another run in. He's a turtle papa so he has to be... somewhat... on better behaviour? NAH. For River, it'll really depend on what mood she's in.
