TAKING BACK WHAT IS OURS (bnr we just need the palace back)

So it's becoming obvious there's diverse groups of characters waiting to strike/get intel on the palace now that it's taken over by the big bad M, and I thought, in my comfortable fortress of solitudehiatus that a bit of organization put together could be helpful.

As far as I’m aware there’s a group that plans to approach it in a discrete way to try to gather intel, a group that plans to use magic and others who plan on trying a bit of a more, uh, direct attack so I will make headers to discuss these three groups and how each ‘attack’ would go, but keep in mind I’m not trying to lead it all or anything like that- I’m just trying to provide an easier way to discuss and plot.

Also it was suggested we use the player mission for each of these plans so the IC attack would probably go up the moment the player missions go up as well, unless groups decide they would rather not use it.

Kal himself here would be pretty open about the idea and probably share it on the network (as SUPERMAN and not Clark), suggesting a meeting for people who could be interested to try to approach the attack this peculiar way so discussion could be pretty upfront if people are willing to meet?

Also he isn't stupid, he knows just punching it to see what happens wouldn't probably help (and he might or not might have tried already and might or might have not gotten a new skin color as a result who knows), so if you need your character to be discouraged from doing that he can help as well. This is more for an actual planned attack.

Anywhere you want him to be! The teams are just the plotting ideas people seemed to have but nothing is set in stone (at all) so Bart could join any team he wanted or even make his own.

I've actually been working on a network post idea for Aya to announce that, as head of the Science Division of Wayne Enterprise (since, you know, nobody's ever protested that), ntm high standing in Stark Industries' labs as well...and the whole being an AI Green Lantern...she would be pouring all these and above resources into discovering ways to either fix the consoles or circumvent the glitches and/por external influences altogether.

I'm also sort of interested in playing out her ability to actually enter computer systems and work from there, of course pending mod approvals and potential outcomes of such a thing positive or otherwise.

So I have tons of ideas and am totally open to all the other tech-savvy peeps who would want to get in on any of the above.

Teen Team?

Kon and Hayley have talking about starting a teen team (of heroes) and, as Al suggested, this could be a really good start to the idea.

Pretty much anyone would be welcome to join for the team up. Thus far, additions thrown around ICly as ideas include Bart, Mark, Nita, and Sabriel. OOCly I can think of plenty others who could work.

I think the team could work well for distraction or direct attack. My only preference would be dividing it up into 4 people at most per log (even if there are several on the same mission).

Mai's no super hero or impervious being but she's not patient enough for team sneaky so I'm dropping her here.

No powers needed at all! She'll be welcomed, specially if she's a good marksman :3 would she actively seek out others planning for this, like going to the meeting if it's advertised or the radio or things like that?

Definitely. Her boredom is almost palpable and while she likely wouldn't be doing this for the good of everyone else or anything noble like that, she would actively attend.

And Cassie, maybe? She'll also likely drag Victor Mancha in, too, but I'll talk with the mun when they're back from weekend AFK about it.

He has his gear, which uses a couple of high powered grappling hooks in a spiderman kinda way, paired with a giant exacto-knife sword in each hand, although to be honest he's not the best at using it! He's also a careful tactical thinker, maybe he could keep someone from running headlong into their own destruction.

He might just end up getting himself killed, lol. He's a bit outclassed by all this. He doesn't have to accomplish anything, I'd just like him to be included.

Lois would probably point out that, you know, probably Malicant can see the network and either not to do it over the network or to make it clear he's not discussing it further over the network and only in person?

Also, she will smack him if he does something stupid like punch the barrier because no way is he hiding that.
