Itching to try out writing a character? Then rev up your engines, grab your accounts, and slam your way into this meme! Here is a venue for you to try out whatever character there might be tickling your fancy, from fandom to OC, for as few as one and as many as MANY. Seriously, there's no limit.

How do you partake in this fantastic congregation of character testing? Why, by following these simple steps:

1. Comment with the journal of a character you want to test; put their name and canon in the subject line for added sparkles.
2. Tag around with everyone!
3. Profit like you live on a the back of a turtle!
4. Maybe even reserve so you CAN live on the back of a turtle!

1. A Chance Meeting at the Turtle's Head.
   Remember, being here causes a great sense of-- well, shall we say inner peace.
2. Haggling Over Something in the Marketplace!
   Maybe someone else saw the exact same shiny thing you did at the exact same moment! However shall this be resolved? Remember: blood is extremely hard to scrub off of turtleshell!
3. Have Met Before? Because I Could've Sworn I've Seen You In My Dreams.
   Have you wandered into the realm of Dreaming via an archway in Keeliai? Here, everything is shaped to your character's individual mind. Dreams can be shared between characters and will result in a meshing of minds. These dreams can be positive or negative, depending on your character.
4. Dramatic Chase Sequence!
   You're running away from something! It could be anything, from a rampaging kirin to a gaggle of overly enthusiastic children, or even one of the newest editions to Keeliai's menagerie, an incredibly affectionate turtle the size of a minivan! One way or another, you can't stop, and much like a katamari ball, you feel obligated to grab everyone in your path along the way to keep them out of danger! Or perhaps you're more the sort to try and knock them into it as a distraction...?
5. Spring Fling!
   Apparently the kedan take the "starting anew" aspect of spring very seriously and have started showing their appreciation for flowers and lovely weather by kissing everyone they across! Neither age nor gender seem to play a factor (though the children will instead get kisses atop their heads, because they're not that weird) but you might find yourself liplocked with a random stranger just for walking down the street.
6. WILDCARD!
   Go nuts. Suddenly your character is fighting dragons! Good God, they've found the Millennium Falcon drifting in the ocean! Do you really feel the need to polish every paving stone in the Earth Sector? Please note, Wildcard options are also what you can choose to do if you aren't yet comfortable in the Tu Shanshu setting and would prefer a more 'dear-mun' esque experience. Please specify in your post!

[She doesn’t get taken to a suit and given directions on how to use the console. Why would she? She’s a cat. Cats don’t know how to use communications equipment. Cats can’t talk either. At least, that’s what most people think.

So when she’s escorted out the palace, she sets out into the street, wending her way through the crowd and trying to resist the urge to take out some of her irritation on the more obnoxious passersby. When she unexpectedly catches the scent of her partner, her mood lifts and her pace quickens. Along the way, her desire to be reunited turns into something a little more playful, a little more honest in an expression of her irritation at being separated, and she stalks him as she might particularly large prey.

She gains a little height as she nears him, getting up on a wall and inching ever closer. Once in range, when she’s so close she can practically reach out a paw and touch him, she springs, pouncing toward his back.]

[The Will has been prowling ever since he took his leave from the welcome wagon, not bothering to sit around and play home decorator in his new apartment because, frankly, he has other, more important shit to do. Like figure out if he's actually dead, for one. And find the girls, Sophie, Gwen, and Lying Cat.

He's slightly hunched, walking through the streets at a hurried pace, scowling at anyone who tries to get too friendly. Something's going on and he's not sure he likes it, seeing as the last thing he remembers is getting stabbed in the neck after they all hallucinated on native food. Needless to say, he's avoiding the food here thus far.

He's starting to get a little more anxious about the lack of his Sidekick and the other two when, all of a sudden, there's a heavy weight springing onto his back, sending him sprawling to the ground like an idiot and not one of the most dangerous men in the galaxy.] Yaaah! [But the weight is familiar and feline, and he doesn't lash out, just cranes his head to look at her.] Fucking hell, Cat. You could've just said hello. Mangy fleabag, you're like the last thing I want to see right now.

[He's totally lying.]

[Real prey would be feeling the sharp points of her claws digging into skin and muscle, but there’s none of that with The Will. Her paws remain gentle on his shoulders as she sniffs at the side of his head. It’s him, of that there’s no doubt, but she goes through the motions anyway just to draw it out a little longer.

There’s a rumble in her voice as she speaks, with a hint of smugness;]

Lying.

[But she ever so daintily steps off of him so that he can get up and sits down on her haunches beside him. The tip of her tail lazily flicks back and forth on the ground, her ears pricked and alert as she stares at him.

She’s not quite smiling, but she exudes a kind of pleased happiness that makes up for it.]

[Oh you mangy fleabag, he is actually thrilled to see you. He even gives her a scratch between her ears and a half-hug before she lets him up off the ground, because damn is it weird to be roaming around without his Sidekick.]

Yeah, yeah. Good to see you too. [He mumbles, pushing himself up to his feet and dusting off the back of his cape.] I was starting to think I'd died and got dumped on this shithole of a purgatory alone. Any sign of Gwen and Sophie yet? Last thing I remember we'd just gotten the ship fixed and- [Were all collectively tripping balls. Plus the whole getting stabbed in the neck thing.]
