Fresh (Nanite Infested) Meat!

Heya, Tu Shanshu!

I'm Straya and I'm bringing in Rex Salazar from the Man of Action/Cartoon Network series Generator Rex. For those who aren't familiar with the canon material, Rex is a roughly seventeen year old EVO (Exponentially Variegated Organism) with the power to build machines out of his body and the ability to maintain control over his nanites, a rarity in GR canon. As he's also a technopath, I've got a permissions/info post up here with details on what exactly Rex can do with that power. (I'll always ask before he tries to use his powers on anything or anyone mechanical, though do feel free to contact me in advance if you'd like the kid to keep his hands off your character or your character's stuff.) Overall, Rex is an outgoing, social sort who likes making new friends, though he's also something of a rowdy thrill seeker who enjoys punching things. A lot of his time back home was spent fighting out of control EVOs, villains and general threats against innocents, so once he gets settled, he'll be fully on board for joining the war effort.

Given what's been established here before with characters from this canon, Rex may also be infectious. Potentially, the nanites in his body may be spread to others like a blood-borne disease. Not everyone who ends up with nanites turns into a rampaging monster, though, as sometimes nanites can remain inactive for years. Fortunately, Rex's power set also includes the ability to cure some EVOs and reverse their mutations. If the whole "infected by nanites and going EVO" thing is something you'd like to do, talk it over with me so we can take it to the mods and be sure it's good by them, too.

In terms of living accommodations, Rex in in the Metal Sector in ME-2C.

Finally, feel free to add me on Plurk for plotting purposes! Username's [plurk.com profile] Straya. Looking forward to playing with you folks!

Hey. I'm Irrisia, we've sort of met, and I play Victor here who is... 70% machine? Approximately, anyway, it's hard to tell. Either way, he's probably able to be affected, if it ever comes up; he's effectively an AI, most of his internal systems are mechanical in nature, and there's basically only a human overlay on top, at the moment. Also he's full of nanites.

Vic's already tagged in, mostly because technopaths make him slightly uneasy.

Vic's mostly been keeping the AI thing pretty quiet for now, because he'd kind of like to avoid the hassle that usually goes with "your dad is an evil killer robot?" He's pretty used to making people kind of uneasy, thanks to previous moments of hacking and/or being under his dad's control.

But yeah, it could be interesting!
