Hahahah, that is weirdly cute! Barnaby doesn't really care for pushy types, but he also tends to eventually relent if someone bugs him enough, so there is that.
As for more info, let's see...
1. Likes classical music and opera. Everything else is inferior in his opinion, and so that's the only type of music he bothers to listen to.
2. Massive neat freak. He refuses to use less than two tissues when wiping his nose, and his apartment is spotless.
3. All-or-nothing attitude toward most things. He's either 110% committed to something, or he wants no part of it.
4. Gets as much use out of something as possible. He leads a very spartan, minimalist lifestyle, so the few things he holds onto are built to last a long time. That's why he does stuff like consistently wear the same outfit for five years straight.
5. Tries to prepare for any outcome he can think of. That's why he owns five pair of the same glasses. He also combs over old footage of himself in order to determine whether each action he took was necessary, and if there's a better way for him to handle similar situations in the future.
6. Very confident in his abilities, and has few (if any) insecurities. On the other hand, he is introspective enough to know what he needs to improve about himself.
7. Saves the best for last, like his favorite food during dinner.
8. He's the love-is-blind type. When he's actually infatuated with someone, he goes through a phase where he's prone to overlooking that person's faults.
Do any of these work? I could try to keep digging if necessary, but I figured that hits on a lot of the major things.
