TEST DRIVE

Itching to try out writing a character? Then rev up your engines, grab your accounts, and slam your way into this meme! Here is a venue for you to try out whatever character there might be tickling your fancy, from fandom to OC, for as few as one and as many as MANY. Seriously, there's no limit.
How do you partake in this fantastic congregation of character testing? Why, by following these simple steps:
- Comment with the journal of a character you want to test; put their name and canon in the subject line for added sparkles.
- Tag around with everyone!
- Profit like you live on a the back of a turtle!
- Maybe even reserve so you CAN live on the back of a turtle!
But wait, there's more! For the low, low price of $9,999.99, you can even use one of our handy prompts when you tag someone. You could even pick one with a Random Number Generator to help decide which prompt to go with!
- A Chance Meeting at the Turtle's Head.
Remember, being here causes a great sense of-- well, shall we say inner peace. - Haggling Over Something in the Marketplace!
Maybe someone else saw the exact same shiny thing you did at the exact same moment! However shall this be resolved? Remember: blood is extremely hard to scrub off of turtleshell! - Have Met Before? Because I Could've Sworn I've Seen You In My Dreams.
Have you wandered into the realm of Dreaming via an archway in Keeliai? Here, everything is shaped to your character's individual mind. Dreams can be shared between characters and will result in a meshing of minds. These dreams can be positive or negative, depending on your character. - Dramatic Chase Sequence!
You're running away from something! It could be anything, from a rampaging kirin to a gaggle of overly enthusiastic children, or even one of the newest editions to Keeliai's menagerie, an incredibly affectionate turtle the size of a minivan! One way or another, you can't stop, and much like a katamari ball, you feel obligated to grab everyone in your path along the way to keep them out of danger! Or perhaps you're more the sort to try and knock them into it as a distraction...? - Walking in a Winter Wonderland
Tu Vishan's entered colder waters and snow now abounds all over the turtle. Are you out enjoying the cold? Maybe trying on some extra warm layers of clothing? Building a snow turtle for the kids to play with? Then this option's for you! - WILDCARD!
Go nuts. Suddenly your character is fighting dragons! Good God, they've found the Millennium Falcon drifting in the ocean! Do you really feel the need to polish every paving stone in the Earth Sector? Please note, Wildcard options are also what you can choose to do if you aren't yet comfortable in the Tu Shanshu setting and would prefer a more 'dear-mun' esque experience. Please specify in your post!

WILDCARD stupid empathic sense is go
And now it's back.
As soon as the sensation registers, she takes off like a shot, following the mental beacon without sparing a thought for how a meeting might go.]

Which is why he looks something approaching shocked when he actually sees her. And for a moment, he quite forgets he was busy being a douchebag to some poor kedan (there was probably an Imperius Rex in there somewhere) because cousin. Who isn't dead. Or blue. Or any bizarre and outlandish combination of the two. (Presuming) she lands, he even lays a hand on her shoulder.]
Nita. Cousin, what is this place?
[Who's got two ankle-wings and ignored the whole kedan explanation? This dude. Namor has always been more about acting than thinking, strictly speaking, and since when does he ever listen to plebeians unless it suits him?]

Namor!
[She is so not crying, okay.]
...If you're a Skrull I'm totally going to kill you.

You're a friend of Nita's, aintcha?

Namorita is my cousin.
[Generally speaking, he has a remarkable tolerance for Nita's... entanglements. But she's nowhere to be seen and he's a cranky bag of dolphins right now, so imperial condescension is go. Admittedly it's not as bad as it could be, but.]

He's so dead but it's so much fun.]

[Jim's body, while synthetic in nature, reacts to most thing the way a normal human body would. His insides might look more mechanic than human but Horton still based it on the human body and trying to make it faithful.
tl;dr: Jim is freezing his ass off, but he doesn't know the place or the people enough to show his powers yet. He wouldn't want to cause unnecessary panic.]
Because if so, it isn't funny. And I want to go home.

As far as Emma knows, Namor has never in his life made an effort to blend in anywhere, so she spots him first, before even his radar for blond women who won't take his shit can switch on. Stopping short, she's faced with a decision that's rarely a problem for her--whether to approach a powerful man she knows how to manipulate.
Being a good guy is hard sometimes.
And then there's the question of whether to tip her hand about her regained memories. Circumstances here are entirely different than in their universe, but the desire to keep most of her cards hidden is something even her change of heart hasn't affected, and god knows if he's still holding a grudge over that Sentinel attack.
Her conclusion, of course, is that she is going to cheat like hell--Namor's defenses against telepathy are worse even than most non-psychics'. Regardless of how she chooses to play this hand based on whatever illicitly acquired information she might turn up, it makes no sense to avoid him, so when Emma starts walking again, it's directly towards a certain short-tempered aquatic monarch, her impractical boots crunching in the snow.]
