How do you partake in this fantastic congregation of character testing? Why, by following these simple steps:

1. Comment with the journal of a character you want to test; put their name and canon in the subject line for added sparkles.
2. Tag around with everyone!
3. Profit like you live on a the back of a turtle!
4. Maybe even reserve so you CAN live on the back of a turtle!

1. A Chance Meeting at the Turtle's Head.
   Remember, being here causes a great sense of-- well, shall we say inner peace.
2. Haggling Over Something in the Marketplace!
   Maybe someone else saw the exact same shiny thing you did at the exact same moment! However shall this be resolved? Remember: blood is extremely hard to scrub off of turtleshell!
3. Have Met Before? Because I Could've Sworn I've Seen You In My Dreams.
   Have you wandered into the realm of Dreaming via an archway in Keeliai? Here, everything is shaped to your character's individual mind. Dreams can be shared between characters and will result in a meshing of minds. These dreams can be positive or negative, depending on your character.
4. Dramatic Chase Sequence!
   You're running away from something! It could be anything, from a rampaging kirin to a gaggle of overly enthusiastic children, or even one of the newest editions to Keeliai's menagerie, an incredibly affectionate turtle the size of a minivan! One way or another, you can't stop, and much like a katamari ball, you feel obligated to grab everyone in your path along the way to keep them out of danger! Or perhaps you're more the sort to try and knock them into it as a distraction...?
5. Walking in a Winter Wonderland
   Tu Vishan's entered colder waters and snow now abounds all over the turtle. Are you out enjoying the cold? Maybe trying on some extra warm layers of clothing? Building a snow turtle for the kids to play with? Then this option's for you!
6. WILDCARD!
   Go nuts. Suddenly your character is fighting dragons! Good God, they've found the Millennium Falcon drifting in the ocean! Do you really feel the need to polish every paving stone in the Earth Sector? Please note, Wildcard options are also what you can choose to do if you aren't yet comfortable in the Tu Shanshu setting and would prefer a more 'dear-mun' esque experience. Please specify in your post!

[Sarah takes a deep breath. She remembers the sick people, charging madly at everyone. No longer human.]

They never found a cure.

[She shudders slightly.] If they're scarier than the sick people, I don't want to know.

[but that was the most important part that she had to get out of the way, so Sarah knew. So that she knew anything Ellie fucked up on with regards to Joel... there was a shit ton of time in there to account for.

Finding a place that sold hot cocoa, though. That was a start]

[Sarah follows, looking around. But she can't stay silent for long-- she needs to keep her mind occupied or she feels like she'll sink into nothingness.]

How long've you been here?

A couple of months. It's actually been a blast-- you know, they have restaurants everywhere. Coffee, too. I tried some, but I don't get what was so great about it.

Oh, and there's this place with these really awesome cakes. Sometimes I trade stuff I get when I go hunting to get some money for it.

It's like heaven on earth.

[Restaurants? Right, they wouldn't have restaurants after so many people got infected.]

You've got to show me. I appreciate a good slice of cake.

And maybe you got a blend you don't like. There are tons of 'em, not to mention all the different flavors of cream and the different sugars. Well sugar and the fake sugars.

Wait, wait, wait, you're supposed to put cream and sugar in it?

That bastard lied to me. [STUPID SNOOTY KEDAN, NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOU BEING A COFFEE AFICIONADO.]

We'll have to try it, then, yeah. What sort of things do you like?

[she knew next to nothing of Sarah, besides that Joel was never, ever, truly over her being gone]

Yeah. You can drink it without cream or sugar, but it's a lot stronger that way. My dad drinks it like that and I have no idea how he can stand it.

[She's not sure how much Ellie knows about her dad, really. But Sarah feels a need to tell her little things like this. If she's not around to remember how her dad takes his coffee or his favorite sports teams, someone should carry the information for her. Well, someone other than uncle Tommy.]

Almost anything. I love Italian. Breads, pastas, pizza.

[she'd heard of the country-- vaguely. But at the same time, no country really held up well when the end of the world came. So she takes great interest in talking about the food]

Okay, okay, you're gonna have to tell me about pizza. I have no clue what the fuck it is, except that it's got cheese.

[Sarah looks scandalized.]

You've never had pizza? Alright, the future officially sucks. [It did before, but Sarah is trying to make light of it.]

I definitely need to introduce you to pizza-- even if I have to make it myself.

[A small 'pssh' escapes her lips] The future sucks more than you can imagine. I'd much rather have pizza.

So, what's it got in it? Cheese, right?

[Sarah almost retorts that she saw the start of all of it. That she knows how bad the future must be. But she doesn't. Because she'll never really know or see it herself.]

Okay, so pizza has three parts-- crust, sauce, and toppings. The crust is made of dough, then comes the tomato sauce, then cheese. You can add stuff like meat or veggies on top of the cheese. Then you cook it, cut it into triangles, and eat it.

So, what you're saying is... is that it's pie.

[and even in the future, who doesn't love pie? Or bacon? But they're so much rarer and hard to come by than she was probably used to.
