Bonfiiiiires

So I've had this idea for a bit and then saw characters ICly talking about it. So it's time to break out the roasting forks because things are about to get... toasty!

Setting

A plaza in Earth has been cleared out to make room for three roaring bonfires. The entire area has become quite warm and a lot of the snow in the area has melted. There’s some food set out on a portable buffet table lit with a few candles. Chekov has done his best to find the equivalents of marshmallows, raw vegetables, and sausages to roast. There are a few metal skewers sitting on the table too. There are also a few jugs of water (hey, he’s not made of money) with some cups. It’s not much, but it’s free. There is a patch of the plaza that is completely clear of obstructions-- somewhere to dance or perform. Feel free to have your character take the stage or cuddle up with another for some slow-dancing. Or bust out some break dancing. I won't judge.

The kedan have gotten in on it and have set up stands nearby. They’re selling food and better drinks as well as blankets and scarves to keep cozy. They seem perfectly happy to indulge the Foreigners in their little festival if it means they can make a little extra juulan.

Timeframe

The event will begin November 29th at sundown and end November 30th at dawn. Participation is 100% voluntary, of course, though people living in near the festival might have to tolerate the smell of smoke during this time. Characters will receive a recorded invitation in their IC inboxes on November 27th (both spoken and written in English and Russian). Absolutely everyone is invited.

This plot is mod-approved so don't worry about Evandau running into the plaza and trying to arrest everyone for lighting stuff on fire.

Thor will be there, because fire+food=win. If anything he'll want to trade stories (which I'd totally be making up off the top of my head) and shoot the air. Anything else I'd be up for too, that's just what I can think of right now.

Korra I'm not going to put out there unless anyone wants to do something with her specifically. So she's open for plotting if you want.

Zatanna will definitely be there, though her time might be monopolized by a certain fun-sized Boy Wonder. She had a lot of making up to do for that whole forgetting him for a little bit thing. But she might be able to steal herself away for a few minutes at a time to make her rounds and hang out with other friends as well.

Midii will probably try to claim her own bonfire and cook things that aren't marshmallows. She's not really the kind to just go up to new individuals on her own, but she does have a small list of people she might say HI to.

Aya ... I'm not sure if she'll be there or not. She doesn't need the warmth, because cold doesn't affect her. (Girl is literally walking around in bikini bottoms and a crop top). She doesn't eat, because robot. Somebody would have to bring her.

Victor will definitely be at the party. He'll be spending most of his time bundled up by one of the fires unless someone wants to try dragging him away from them.

Zee could drag her along? Korra's canon update put her on this side of seriousness and she's hell bent on training practically non-stop.

Hayley will probably show up and try to roast some s'mores. She'll only be social if people approach her, but she'd be fairly open to socializing for the first time since dying.

Costigan will probably wander in and out of the area. He'd stay if he ran into someone he liked who asked him too, but otherwise he'd lone wolf it and be angsty.

Chekov will of course be there. He won't be hovering over everyone or being much of a host, if only because it's more of a free-for-all than anything. But he'll answer questions or chat or guide people around. He's pretty good-natured and friendly, so he's approachable.

Dick will also be there, mostly hanging out in front of the fire and probably burning marshmallows, oops.

Oh, the making up out will be most pleasant. That's a guarantee. And so help anybody who disturbs them before she's ready to be disturbed.

AND YES. I would love both boys to come see her. Potentially especially Dick, considering Midii's still mad at Damian too.

Tazendra and Iroh will be out. Tazendra will be eating, drinking, and possibly trying to teach people some rather ribald drinking songs that you wouldn't think a noblewoman would know.

Iroh will be socializing and listing to music/dancing if he can find a partner (or maybe not). He'd happily play if he had an instrument (and/or sing along).

Zelgadis will probably won't be there, unless the noise is bothering him. He does live in the Earth Sector. So if you want Mister Cranky to tell you kids to turn down the noise, just ask.
