break out the teal deers!

THE CR TL;DR MEME

HOW IT WORKS:

1. List your character(s)!
2. Others respond with "what does your character X think of my character Y?" or some variation.
3. Respond to them! Break out those teal deers!
4. Generate some discussion about your CR!
5. PROFIT!

PLEASE DON'T ASK HIM ABOUT POLITICS. IT'S SO BORING.

He likes her well enough, though. Like, she doesn't irritate him or upset him, really, which is good, but she also seems to sort of shut down conversations if they have no other purpose which is not really how he knows how to talk? Note this is from a limited instance of talking to her, but it isn't conversational! But that's okay. He just needs to find out if she likes art or something. Then conversating can happen. (Go go art discussions!)

HE CAN KINDLY GET OVER HIMSELF IT WAS LIKE TEN MINUTES.

She does do that. Thus far with him, she's still on that on-the-job mentality, if you will, plus she really doesn't know him very well, so she wouldn't be talking just to talk yet.

My headcanon is that her world really didn't have art for lots of plot-related reasons that I'll mercifully spare you the tl;dr for - the point is that she really wouldn't know! She's never experienced art for art's sake! She has read manga, but she wouldn't count it as art; she read it for the story. If he's as petulant at explaining everything as he is at explaining politics, it can only end hilariously poorly, though she'd definitely be willing to learn.

Nah, he actually likes talking about other things and has given more than a few people educations on the arts (eg, poor Alan Campbell). He just likes to pretend that he has no connection to anything practical and no knowledge of anything real, hence sulking about having to discuss politics.
