THE CR TL;DR MEME
HOW IT WORKS:
1. List your character(s)!
2. Others respond with "what does your character X think of my character Y?" or some variation.
3. Respond to them! Break out those teal deers!
4. Generate some discussion about your CR!
5. PROFIT!

I'm starting with Billy's opinion because it's shorter then Dick's, but that's only because Billy has a lot of fanboy feelings that can be grouped together as fanboy feelings. Yes, back home, things were not the greatest with him and Mr. Tony Stark. He's still a little pissed at the whole Scarlet Witch deal, but just because he was upset doesn't mean he didn't understand the issues there. He just didn't like his understanding of the problems because it didn't conform with what he wanted it to be. But this Tony is all kinds of awesome! He invited Billy to an Avenger meeting, and he's giving him a chance, and Billy really hopes he hasn't seen him talking to Loki, because he doesn't want to ruin that chance that he got just by an association that he knew nothing about. And Vic didn't do anything bad with his magic while he had his body, that's a point in his favor, right?
Dick is decidedly less fanboy-y about Tony, but that's because he likes the man, not the myth. The suit is kind of cool, though, it's not Blue Beetle but Dick really likes the red and the gold contrast. And he's not at all disappointed about the lack of a cape, because I think they both agreed that capes are stupid and no one wears them anyway. Not even if they make you look like a bat. No one cares about bats, that would just be plain silly. Seriously, though, he really likes his style. Tony seems to be a laid back, funny guy, who knows when to be serious, but thankfully knows that that is not all the time. Dick can count on one hand the amount of people that he met his first few weeks here that were up for some joking around. A lot of people from home were not on that small list.
God, what else, it can be summed up with Dick likes the guy. But there's also that part that badly wants to know what would happen if Iron Man and Nightwing met. There's tons of stupid little tricks that Dick uses to make sure no one knows that it's him (seriously, he dyes his hair a different shade of black, this is a thing he actually does), but sometimes even he doesn't always understand how people don't know it could be him. Except everyone knows that Nightwing is the first Robin, but all grown up? Weird little thing there that DC gets away with because it's DC.
But he has a lot of respect for Tony, too, because he's not hiding who he is. At all, really, he's not used to any superhero letting others, especially the world, know who they are. Even Superman doesn't do that, and he could live even if the world were to explode! But Dick does not compare Tony to Superman, sorry bro, but you are not his idol.
WOW THANKS DREAMWIDTH FOR POSTING MY COMMENT WHEN I WASN'T FINISHED.
Anyway, like I said, Tony isn't close to Superman, but he is close to Bruce. Huge differences, of course, because Dick has a faint idea that Tony is more of a playboy versus pretending to be one. But they both have money. They're both geniuses. They both fight crime. They both fight crime in groups, and save the world a lot. But Tony isn't Bruce, and Dick has to bet that what makes the difference between them isn't just that one of their parents died before their eyes. Because if it's just that, that makes the difference, that's just going to make Dick really sad. Now I'm done.

But really he's going to be watching to make sure Billy doesn't end up hurt too. It's not all about the potential magic catastrophe. He just needs to find a better way of relating to him.
And oh my god Dick comparing Tony to Bruce no. Oh noooooo. He's not either of those big heroes. He's not even on par with his own big names. Although that does really amuse me. They should meet some time and have horrible interactions. And mostly it's just because Tony has a different way of coping that he's not as hard-lived and tough as Bruce, so hey. He's had his losses. He just gets by through different means.
