HOW IT WORKS:
1. List your character(s)!
2. Others respond with "what does your character X think of my character Y?" or some variation.

No, really, he's just. Obviously, Jack cares. Cares about the tinies, and even about Damian himself. At the same time, those judgment calls, sometimes...
And, worst of all, Damian's learned enough to know that he's upsetting the spirit, over and over again, and - despite the trust issues - he doesn't want to. So he kind of doesn't know what to do, in a more general sense.
... in short (I know that's against the tl;dr thing, but if I start rambling, it won't make even as little sense as it will), Damian's starting a little bit to pay attention to his heart, and Jack's one of the people where his mind and his heart tell him entirely different things and WAT DO?
