Sob. Sorry, Mark, Damian hasn't really been a kid since he was three. He's not forcing himself to be older - he no longer remembers how to be anything else. He genuinely doesn't get 'fun' that doesn't involve stabbing people, and 'hope' and 'faith' are abstract concepts that he's lost touch with altogether. Things for other people.

(But Keeliai is kinder to him, on the whole, than his life has been since he was three? So maybe it'll keep on getting a bit better?)
