SCOTT ON BILLY

Surprisingly, the fact that Scott's first meeting with Billy happened about an hour before Cassie died doesn't really affect his opinion on the kid. Everything was just a wreck at that point and he considers it none of the YA kids' fault (even thought it kind of definitely was).

All that being said, Scott likes Billy. He seems like a kid with a good head on his shoulders and not one to abuse all his crazy magic powers. Also he clearly had a good influence on Cassie because she looked pretty happy as a superhero in those like six minutes he got to spend with her before Doom ruined everything. Any friend of Cassie's is someone he'll consider loose family, so he kind of watches out for Billy on the turtle. He feels a little guilty for not checking in as much as he should but at the same time Billy kind of brings up bad memories. BUT since Cassie's here I'm sure they'll start mingling more since y'know, teammate + dad.

BARRY ON DICK

He doesn't swing that way thanks I MEAN. Despite the fact that we haven't had any interacted on the turtle yet, I'm pretty sure Barry has a high opinion of Dick, largely because Dick is Wally's best friend. That means a lot to Barry, since after his death Wally didn't really have many good role models and friends left. He's very grateful that Dick's been there to see Wally through many of the darker times of his life.

My comics timeline knowledge is super iffy but I'm pretty sure Barry's only really known Dick as Robin, so I think he'll be a little surprised to see how much Dick has matured as Nightwing. (I use that term loosely because, well, Dick.) But it'll be good surprise! Dick's competent and knows what he's doing, and he's not a grouchy old man like Bruce (sry Bruce he loves you but you seriously need to lighten up). Beyond that I can't really say BUT YOU'RE COOL IN BARRY'S (OLD-FASHIONED AND REALLY SQUARE) BOOK.

I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE THE DICK THING goddamnit Richard John Grayson you could have gone with Rich but nooooooo. That said, I didn't even think about the fact that both of my guys are good friends with your boys' relatives. Now it all makes sense! And it's definitely the YA's fault. Or Billy's, since he knows it's his fault but yeah >>

Now I'm trying to remember comic book timeline. I'm petty sure he knows Nightwing, though, especially if he's been through a few crises. Is that criseses? I have no idea. But he would know, Dick's been Nightwing for looooong time. God, now I have more of a desire for a Wally. I really want one.

UHHHHH Barry was pretty much around for Crisis on Infinite Earths and that was it. Technically he was present for about half of Final Crisis too but since everything was hectic during that time, I doubt his perception of Dick as Nightwing would be anything more than "oh Dick is Nightwing now". Also I'm going slightly off of Blackest Night, since Barry at Bruce's grave says he always liked Robin and Hal has to correct him that the Robin now is a different one than Dick.

IDK either way I doubt he knows much of Dick as Nightwing either. The downside of being dead for like 20 years. :c

;A; Twenty years of being dead sucks. I feel for you bro, I really do. Yeah, Barry would know about Nightwing but not know about Nightwing from that point. Barry needs to get with the new times, where's that giant scrapbook of DC history when you need it?
