break out the teal deers!

THE CR TL;DR MEME
HOW IT WORKS:
1. List your character(s)!
2. Others respond with "what does your character X think of my character Y?" or some variation.
3. Respond to them! Break out those teal deers!
4. Generate some discussion about your CR!
5. PROFIT!

Honestly, as much as Kal had dreamed of meeting his birth parents he was also a little afraid to think that day could come. Not because he didn’t want to, but just like everyone is a little afraid of meeting their idols in case they end up disappointed he was afraid of meeting them because he was aware he’d put both of them in a pedestal and there was no way anyone would meet up those expectations.
And then he met Jor-El, who not only met said expectations but squashed them flat. He was intelligent, smart, a quick-thinker… but also a man of action, taking charge of the situation the moment he landed on the turtle (while breathing toxic air and being in pain, no less). He loves talking to him and learning from him, just as he loves sharing about his powers and trying to make him understand how to use them- which is a little hard since they see the world in a different way and what makes sense for Kal doesn’t always make sense for Jor-El, but even trying to get over that cultural barrier has been fun for him.
Kal would give his life for his father, he would do anything he asked because he has Jor-El as this… standard of intelligence and Kryptonian culture and all he should be but isn’t. Meeting his father (and DCnU’s Kara) has kind of made it evident Kal…isn’t as Kryptonian as he could be. It didn’t usually bother him because he was raised human, loved humanity and saw himself as human most of the time but now he honestly feels guilty about it. He wants to ask and ask and ASK about Krypton and specifically this Jor-El’s Krypton- he could have all the information he wanted and more from the fortress but hearing from his father’s lips is like, story-time and he actually hopes he isn’t being overbearing to the man.
AND YEAH I could actually write a lot more but I want to get back to the others, I can write a bit more later if you want :U
