break out the teal deers!

THE CR TL;DR MEME

HOW IT WORKS:

1. List your character(s)!
2. Others respond with "what does your character X think of my character Y?" or some variation.
3. Respond to them! Break out those teal deers!
4. Generate some discussion about your CR!
5. PROFIT!

Mark ➔ Clark
Clark is his not!dad. Out of everyone on the turtle, he feels the closest to Clark. From nearly falling to his death to discussing super personal topics, he's been through a lot with Clark and he really respects and admires how Clark is able to always seem to know just the right thing to say, and how he doesn't seem to panic or get unnecessarily angry like some people, who shall not be named (himself). As such he really trusts Clark, and feels like he could go to him about anything, no matter how stupid it seemed to him.

He also has thought about how similar Clark is to his own father, but in a funhouse mirror kind of way. Clark is how he remembers Nolan when he was younger, back when he would tell the stories of the great Viltrum Empire and how they strove for peace across the galaxy. He wonders a lot about Kryptonians and what they'e like, but is nervous to breach the subject because he knows that Viltrum will eventually come up and he hates how he's even tangentially related to such a horrible race. He also wonders if Clark is who his father could have been, if he was really raised in the Viltrum of his childhood stories, that if Nolan was just a little more like Clark, the original Guardians of the Globe would still be alive, he wouldn't have had to fight his father, all those people never would have died, the cities would never been destroyed, his mother would be happy, and Eve would have never died.
