Soranik obviously thought of Annabeth as someone perfectly capable of handling herself, as well as filled with a lot of potential. SHE SAW A LOT OF HERSELF IN ANNABETH TBH including the inability to people properly, and that endeared her to Soranik a lot.

BUT HONESTLY WHILE SORANIK WOULD NEVER EVER HAVE KIDS and probably can't thanks being a half-breed she would absolutely want her daughter to be as smart and as clever as Annabeth and thinks any proper parent (and don't they have the worst luck at that) would be proud to have Annabeth as a child.
