Barnaby still isn't used to meeting superheroes from other worlds, especially ones that are so far removed from the economic model he's used to. But, Mark was at least willing to hear him out instead of quickly dismissing the realities of Barnaby's world, so he strikes Barnaby as someone who might have a good head on his shoulders.

Since he's so new to turtle land, Barnaby realizes there's a chance he may have to receive assistance from other foreigners, especially people with powers or combat experience. So, he believes it's in his best interest to stay polite in order to maintain somewhat amicable relationships with other people, which means that will likely characterize his future interactions with Mark.

Kyle. Oh, Kyle. Dick feels very awkward when it comes to his younger self, but if he knew that it was him that helped Dick gain this new friend in Kyle, then he would be so grateful. Not that he could ever know, but I am so grateful for little Dick being around because I love the CR they have so much in common and one day. One day. Hey, he's not going to fight Bart on that! Tim is an awesome Robin, Dick will completely agree with him on that. Also the suit with green in it is the best suit, because Dick is like. That red suit has kind of a depressing history to it, so no.

Yeah... yeah. Bart got the shaft when it comes down to awesome families who actually want you around seven days a week, except from 6pm to 9pm, because that's when the Gotham Knights play, unless he wants to watch too, in which case he's in charge of refilling snacks.

But yeah. Dick feels a little responsible for looking out for him because of family and friends and all that, but that's not a big part of it. It's also more like being a big bother responsible, which he wants to be, so yeah. Damn straight they need hot dog revenge! Man, Dick is not happy about that. Time to make sure everyone gets to try a chilidog with all the fixings. And by everyone I mean everyone on the turtle and Bruce. They should just leave them around everywhere.

I love how people hate that there are so many kids brought here because they should be pissed off about that! Obviously they're brought in because people want to play them and apped them in, but I just love that since no one knows that, they just see all of these kids being brought here and everyone is all "WHY SO MANY KIDS" and there are never any suitable answers. It's one of the things I like about games. It throws everyone into a tizzy. Yes, I used tizzy. I love it.

Dick understands! Hell, even when he's Batman, he's always had a Robin by his side. It's always better to have someone who'll watch your back in a fight, and honestly, he's very surprised that with all of the superheroes around here, they haven't formed into a group. There are so many here! They're either keeping with their groups from home, or out solo (granted, like they do at home), but no one has done this yet? At this point, Dick wants to help because come on mask wearing bros. Come on. I'll probably have him contact Tony as Nightwing when November is over, offering his help? Because his resume is great for helping out when it comes to groups. Get those loners in on this.

But an awful sense of humor, but so long as Tony humors him on it, it will never stop. And even if he doesn't, it'll crop up because how do you live without making jokes? Yeah, didn't think so. At one point, Tony, there was a cape. And scaly panties, and yeah, if Tony can already tease him, that is never getting out. Ever. Man, when he shows off, he shows off, he will always be a performer.

Tony, there's no way to break it to you slowly. But Dick already considers him a friend! He's a cool guy, and Dick likes talking to him, and at some point Tony should come by the bar and spend some time hanging out with him while Dick works a slow shift.

Haha yeah I actually like that there are that many kids! It's interesting to see how everyone works that out and wrestles with the unanswered questions. And tizzy is a great word. Tony's at least happy to see some familiar faces even though they aren't happy to see him.

Tony will never stop humoring Dick, though. He likes the bad humor. Look at who he hangs out with! Carol Danvers is one of his better friends. And he and Thor are both definitely anxious about the lack of team coordination. Why wouldn't they want to join together?? So yes, Dick needs to help out and encourage the group effort plans.

Tony would be surprised to hear that Dick considers him a friend! But pleasantly so. He likes him, so that would be a nice change to everyone hating him. XD He may drop by the bar now and then if he knows he's welcome. He tends to avoid the place unless there's someone who wants to go there and invites him ~~Scott~~.

Bad humor is a bonding link. It definitely helps endear Dick to him. And I think he's like Nightwing too. He's a little unsure about the other heroes, so having a face to put to them would help a lot. They need to bring everyone together. Invite everyone! And Tony would agree with him too, so it's a good plan.

They are! They do! It's a two edged sword wrapped as a gift! Superheroing first rule: no side kicks. Second rule: if you have sidekicks, then make sure they know who's boss. Third rule: If a kid falls into neither category of sidekick or not-a-sidekick... then you might be a little screwed. xD

I think he'll like Nightwing, too. Nightwing really is Dick in costume, and not having to hold his punches or kicks. It's a wonder how only a few know who he actually is.
