+1 consulting detective
Hello Tushanshu! I'm Imran and I'm bringing Joan Watson from Elementary to Turtleland. Elementary is essentially a modern adaptation of the original Sherlock Holmes stories, similar to BBC Sherlock. If you haven't watched it yet, all the episodes are on CBS so watch them asap
Joan is a former surgeon turned sober companion turned consulting detective. She's loyal, intelligent, compassionate, and pretty fantastic all around. Even though she's no longer a surgeon, she's still quite capable and if someone's seriously injured, Joan has the skills to help out.
That said, if you'd like to contact me, I'm musharna on AIM and
pidgey on Plurk. If you'd like to friend me on Plurk, feel free to send me a private plurk or comment here since my layout doesn't have the add friend option. I don't bite!
I look forward to playing with you guys. 8')

Ooh I have heard good things about the series with Dorian Gray!
Feel free to have him make the connection, however you deem appropriate. Depending on when it comes up, Joan might just consider it to be a coincidence or something! By the time it does come up, Joan will probably be too weirded out by everything else to be super phased by it.

Oh yay I am going to assume that's from Jae because Jae has suffered a lot from that. And made me suffer for it. Somehow.
Excellent! He may or may not bring it up depending on how much he's taken by surprise, since he's very used to the 'oh hey famous literature??' thing himself and so tends not to hit others with it. The modern adaptation of someone he knew is definitely a new experience.
Also I'd love to add you on plurk? I am

I look forward to them meeting!
Of course! I just added you!
