THE TL;DR MEGA MEME BONANZA

Comment with a list of your characters, receive questions, or just tl;dr on your own unprompted! Bruce&Dick, handwaved CR:

I figure they patrol together sometimes, probably mostly silent. Bruce will sometimes make very awkward attempts at conversation, though, usually by picking something he remembers from DCU!Dick's childhood and trying to figure out whether or not bb!Dick knows about it/etc. This has probably lead to some awkward timeline (unsure) because it'd be like, 'so how do you feel about pokemon' or something. idk. AWKWARD. But Bruce tries very hard, and is probably a lot more open with bbDick than he ever was with DCU!Dick in terms of how he talks to him. It's the difference between being the first Robin and like, the sixth Robin. (Technically).

Bruce also has a tendency to leave him things he thinks Dick would find useful or like. Always without anything to indicate who it's from but of course it's obvious.


jim: fav headcanon


I have no idea if the novels contradict anything because I haven't... read them yet... (unsure)!! but basically my headcanon is that Jim left home when he was around sixteen/seventeen and ended up working a variety of 'hard labour' jobs, mostly stuff that paid under the table, probably at... idk, the future equivalent of a steel mill or something, and he probably worked a couple different jobs just to keep himself busy since Jim is one of those people that needs to be constantly doing something. I figure he also worked as a bartender for a while (before he was legally old enough Jim pls) because it's a good way to learn how to read people, and you also hear/pick up on a lot.

Aww Bruce. ;; The results might be hit or miss but at least he tries.

I don't think the novels contradict any of that. They just say he lived in Iowa. And he loves his mommy.
